Stay put and don't do anything to arouse suspicion.

The next few hours are a test of patience for you and Amina. The genie seems to be quite good at waiting things out, but you get antsy having to sit around in silence all evening. The afternoon was tolerable as you could listen in on the conversations. Mrs. Danvers seemed like a fun mom, cracking wise at every other remark one of the girls would make. Mr. Danvers sounds much more gruff and unapproachable in comparison. His statements are terse and to the point while also having an intonation of annoyance. You don't know if its because of a rough day at work or if it's his normal demeanor. Either way, you do not want to be caught in his daughter's bedroom, so make sure to stay especially still when you hear him head to the top floor.

As the evening wanes, the family splits up. Mr. Danvers is in the master bedroom, Mrs. Danvers is in the kitchen, Stacy is downstairs watching television while Melanie has returned to the room to check in on the two of you. Thankfully, to relieve some of the boredom, Mel pulls out a deck of cards and you play some card games. You play a few games until you hear the voice of the mother coming up the stairs. "Mel, hun, did you want the rest of the dessert from dinner?'

Mrs. Danvers burst through the door and you barely have enough time to scoot behind the bed, out of view. Fortunately, Amina was already seated there and you hunker down together and hope Melanie can drive her mother away.

"MOM!" Melanie cries out as she clambers to hide what she is doing under her sheets.

"What are you up to, dear? What are you hiding?" Mel's mom asks with suspicion.

"I was just... playing cards..."

"What are they nudie cards? Why do you need to hide that from me?"

"I wasn't... I was... I mean, I'm just naked under here..."

Mrs. Danvers raises an eyebrow. "What for?"

"Just don't come closer," Melanie begs, "This is embarrassing enough as it is..."

"Oh, as if I haven't seen you butt ass naked before, Melly... you came out of my body, remember?"

"Moooom!"

"Fine fine, I'll just leave this here on your desk."

With that, the matriarch of the family took her leave and you and Amina pull yourselves out of your hiding spot and breath a sigh of relief.

"You owe me big for that..." Melanie warns you. You can only sigh and nod your head.

After a few hours, it's finally time to head to bed. Mel lets Amina into her bed, but you get stuck on the floor. At least Melanie leaves you with a pillow and blanket, but with the heat in the room, it doesn't feel necessary. Melanie's room is windowless and the evening is warm, not to mention the three bodies giving off heat to make the place become an oven. You take off your shirt just so you can breath in the heat and, notice that the girls up in the bed have done something similar. In the darkness you can make out shirts and underwear as the two suffer similarly. You doff your pants as well, assuming they won't be too offended by you sleeping in your underwear. It still does little to ease your discomfort and you toss and turn through the night.
