Stay in and Read

With her choice made Emma knew knowledge was power and thus she decided it would be best if she read up on how the Colony functions. Finishing her bath, she wrapped her body up in a towel and began to dry herself off.

Of course, drying her body was the easy part the hard part would be her hair which Emma had a plan for that. Besides she was a nudist now so using a tower to cover herself was after drying off would be counterproductive of her new lifestyle. Once Emma's body was dried off, she wrapped her towel around her hair and began heading to the sitting room.

Heading to the sitting room she grabbed one of the many books the colony left for her and began to read through it. She planned to keep reading until it came time for her date.

She began reading and thus did her research to ensure she would not be breaking any rules anytime soon. What was most interesting the colony was how couples seem to marry here and even start families. Concerning as it was interesting Emma found that the Colony enforced certain rules about children almost religiously. Chief being that they were NOT to be touched in any way shape or form beyond parental or friendly hug. Even those were monitored and this made Emma happy that pedophiles would not try coming into the colony.

This also explained the reason for a background check to ensure that any new arrivals did not have a history of that. But then remembering a lack thereof children she soon found out that the colony had a daycare center that kept said children safe as it doubled as day school also. Not like she was planning to start a family mind you, but Emma found it interesting enough to take note of.

She spent the rest of the afternoon studying where she failed to realize how time flew. Looking outside she saw the sun beginning to set opting Emma to get up. Standing up Emma looked at herself and knew she had a little time before heading out. She could take a few extra minutes to put on her makeup or she could go without and be natural about her looks.
