Status and BP

"I'll make it quick for once, even though the detailed explanation would take several hours. Say or think 'Status'." Nola said.

Jeanne quickly complied. There was no point in vainly opposing this kind of thing.

Jeanne wasn't a big video game player, but the inspiration was obvious. This show was clearly a game.

"As you can see at the moment the right column showing your transformations is quite empty. Don't worry, it will change quickly." Nola explained, which didn't really reassure the assembly.

Jeanne couldn't help but think that this would probably be more useful. She had a good memory but who knows how many transformations she would receive before the end of this show, 10, 20, 30 or even 100. Having a recap could undoubtedly be useful.

"As you can see you start with 2000 BP. We are generous so you will receive 100 BP every day no matter what." said Nola

So, a total of 20 days of starting funds to begin with. This was a fairly small but not insignificant contribution.

"And logically the next tab is to spend these BP." Elizabeth commented

"Exactly, but I'll let you discover all that on your own. Despite my talent as a presenter, it's above all you and the Master that the audience wants to see. I'll come back tomorrow morning to explain the program to you. In the meantime, feel free to have fun with the Master" declared Nola before simply disappearing.

Nothing to say, the teleportation was always disturbing to observe.

"It really does feel like we're in a video game. Are we going to have to fight monsters and save princesses?" Violet asked.

"Little sister, I think you should tone down your enthusiasm a little. Besides, there's absolutely nothing around us, just a vast meadow as far as the eye can see. That will also cause other problems," Kelly explained, trying to calm her sister's ardour.

"What could be worse than being kidnapped and turned?" Tammy asked.

It was Elizabeth who answered

"We're going to need to eat, drink and sleep pretty soon, and unless you've taken to grazing on grass, there's obviously nothing to eat around here," said the elf.

"If that's all I can do is try to catch some food, there must be some animals hanging around" Victoria replied smiling her tail wagging in excitement

"It's not that simple and even if by some miracle you manage to catch, let's say 4 rabbits, we would still have to prepare and cook them to eat them. That would not solve the problem of water or having a roof over our heads. No, obviously the solution comes from what we have just been provided with. " said Jeanne

"If we look carefully in the 'Regular goods' tab we can buy ourselves with the BP that we all have of which we need to survive." Jeanne explained

"It's strange I can't understand how the prices were set. It seems to have been randomly assigned” commented Lily, who could not associate the prices of what she saw with the prices in supermarkets or even directly from suppliers.

"Okay, so that solves the problem of accessing basic necessities." Sophia observed.

"True, provided it works. We'll have to test it." said Jeanne, choosing to take the 1kg of apple for 4 BP.

Suddenly 6 apples appeared in front of her and fell to the ground without her being able to catch a single one.

"They could have made the effort to provide them in a bag," Susan pointed out.

"That was the whole point of the test. To see if we had the contents in addition to the container. That's why I chose to take apples and not water." Jeanne explained.

"So how are we going to get water if it falls to the ground as soon as it appears?" Iris asked.

“I have an idea,” Elizabeth said.

Elizabeth conjured a canteen and opened it upside down to show that it was empty. She then had to conjure water directly into the canteen because she began drinking from it.

"So, we can decide where what we buy will appear." Lisa noted

"That seems to be the case, but I think there must be limits but we will have to discover them as we go along." Elizabeth confirmed.

"There is also a category of 'Magical goods'" Iris pointed out.

Indeed, there was this category but quite frankly I did not see the use for it now. Given the prices it was just impossible to use at the moment.

"Do any of you know what 'Veritaserum' is?" Victoria asked.

"Oh it's a potion which means that the one who drinks it can only tell the truth without hiding the smallest detail." Violet explained

“Tolkien? » asked Elizabeth

“No, Harry Potter,” Violet replied.

"No point in discussing it right now, we barely have the BP to buy anything in that category." Sophia said.

Jeanne continued to observe the different tabs. The transformations one could be more interesting but there would always be time to look into it later.

When she got to the 'Person' tab she was quite surprised by the amount of people which was displayed. She knew them all. There were her parents, her friends, her colleagues, cousins and people she probably hadn't spoken to in years.

"We will have to wait before bringing in new people," Sophia said.

"What? But I must get my husband here," Lily exclaimed.

"That's a bad idea," Elizabeth commented.

"In what way?" Lily asked

"First of all, you read the contract, right? So, you know that you are not to sleep with your husband anymore under penalty of punishment. Signs of love must be limited as much as possible if you want to avoid punishment and possible elimination." Sophia explained calmly.

"But he’s my husband. He's not perfect but I love him." Lily said

"I understand but as long as you have strong feelings for him it would probably be wiser to wait. You can always have him come later and who knows maybe it will be possible for you to talk together without being punished." the prosecutor continued to explain.

" But … "

"Mother I understand that you want to bring father, but do you want to be transformed into a real cow just to satisfy this desire. Besides maybe father would be punished too. Frankly I don't think we should take the risk. You saw what they were capable of. Let's respect the rules for now." said Susan who had calmed down considerably

"There is also the problem of resources. The more people we bring in, the more mouths there will be to feed. We will need housing, water, food, activities. All of which we lack now," Lisa said.

"On the other hand, it doesn't mean that we won't be able to bring anyone. But we have to be patient and prepare a suitable environment before bringing them." said Iris

"It's not like he's going to die tomorrow either. We have time to plan and organize everything." Felicity said.

“I understand,” Lily said, lowering her head.

This problem was solved and so Jeanne continued her exploration of the different tabs.

It was interesting that you could convert your BP into VP. This will probably be useful to reach 100 VP and therefore end this show. After that, the question arose as to whether you should try to end this show.

The page 'Challenge' was more interesting but quite frankly Jeanne didn't have the courage to try anything at the moment.

"But what is this page?" Susan wondered.

The Kingdom page was probably the most disappointing. If Nola wanted to not reveal information to them it was not necessary, she could have just not added the tab.

"I think she lacks self-confidence and must have been put down a lot and so she tries to congratulate herself as best she can," Sophia explained.

Finally, the last page seemed just a settings page.
