Chapter 3 by MariWrites MariWrites

You sigh, staring at the program before you. There were truly so many things you could change about yourself, or the world, just to prove that the program was fake once and for all. But what to pick specifically?

Glancing around your room, your eyes eventually land on your phone, a small crack splitting the screen protector in two. It'd been bugging you for weeks at this point, but without the money needed to repair or replace it, you'd been forced to live with the accursed crack. Another glance at your phone, memories of it's cracked screen—you'd dropped it in the hall going to class one morning when someone bumped into you—rushing back into you as you processed everything. It was...all real. Every last bit of it. And you weren't immune to the knock on effects either.

Really, there was only one thing to think as you finally sat back, realizing all the implications of the program
