What's next?
Sarah (18, F)
Your book bag lays discarded on your bed, your jacket draped over the headboard and your shoes and socks discarded on the floor. After getting home from school and cramming your homework into the smallest window of time you could manage, you wasted no time getting on the computer and burning the remaining hours of the day away through mindless browsing.
It was a day like any other, meaning nothing but drama at school, more quizzes you didn't want to bother with, and then continued insistence from your family to spend time with them instead of spending your whole day either out of the house at the mall or locked up in your room... at least, until you checked your email.

Congratulations! You've been selected as the sole beta tester for our new program, RealityShift!
Life too monotonous? Want to escape your boring day-to-day? Or, maybe you just want to switch things up and try something new for the hell of it. Want to reach into the essence of existence itself and mold it through your own hands? Then this is the program for you!
RealityShift v.0.1 is an experimental meta-program capable of altering the very fabric of reality itself. Just be careful what you change, because there are no protections for either the world or you as the user!

You stared at the email incredulously. It reeked of "phishing scam"... yet you couldn't deny your curiosity. If something like this really existed, then risking some of your data had to be worth it to get your hands on it, right..?
So, you clicked the link, and a webpage opened in your browser: RealityShift.net. The page was a simple tan grid background, and in the middle of it was a Windows Vista-styled window ('Dated, much?' you mused) with a small indented text box. Below that box was a field labeled Reality Alteration:, which... spoke for itself on its purpose. Above it, however, were three tabs:
Modifications, Saved Presets, and History.
You maximized the little window to give yourself more space, and poking through the three tabs you found them all empty, except for one line in History:
[18:32:42] Program activated for the first time.
You looked down at the clock on your PC: 6:33PM. That sounded about right.
'Well...' You thought to yourself, chewing your lower lip. 'If it's a scam, it's a pretty in-depth one. Might as well waste a bit of time on this.' It wasn't even running on your computer from what you could tell, just from a website - no scary executable program to download and worry about, just a text field...
What would you do first? Would you experiment carefully, change something small about yourself or your life? Or would you decide to go all out on the first entry and test if this thing could really do all it claimed?
