Relationship to the Master: Was his therapist, and the person he trusted most, before she revealed that it was part of a scheme to get him to agree to be on Harem Hotel, the show she’s hosting. Now he loathes her.

Job: Formerly a therapist, now the host of Harem Hotel: Island Holiday. Her qualifications in both respects are dubious.

Appearance: Curvy body with wide hips, long legs, and a generous chest. Dresses in a bizarre fusion of a dress suit and showgirl skirt, and carries a top hat and cane. A blue-eyed blonde beauty with a sinister smile.

Appearance: Average height, average weight, average looks. Could be more handsome if he tried, but lacks the motivation to do so. Is going prematurely grey due to stress and depression, has a slight gut but is otherwise in decent shape.

Likes: Reading mysteries and romances, playing video games, fish, aquariums, helping others, any movie where the guy gets the girl

Dislikes: Taking risks, talking to women, falling in love, hurting people (emotionally or physically), liars, people who abandon him, going swimming, rain, storms, camping, the outdoors, romances where one or both of the leads die at the end

Bio: Nick’s lived a pretty rough life. He’s been dealing with depression and self-loathing since he was a little kid, bouncing around from therapist to therapist. Because of his issues he’s quick to form serious attachments to other people, specifically women, and is easily hurt when his feelings aren’t returned. In spite of his difficult personality he’s been close to several women in his life, but for one reason or another things never developed romantically. Is still haunted by his past, and wrote a bestselling novel on his struggle with depression in college; then his social life collapsed and he relapsed hard. He’s just now starting to put his life back together.

Job: Roadie for that indie band you’ve never heard of but is definitely better than the trash you listen to, boomer.

Appearance: Wild and feathery hair dyed black to be edgy (a natural blonde) wears frayed jean skirts, leather coats, band shirts with the sleeves ripped off, and a rather alluring amount of eyeshadow that makes her brown eyes pop. Very slender with pale skin, large boobs, and several tattoos that she can’t remember getting.

Likes: ****, ****, partying, loud music, punk fashion, ignoring her past, being treated like she’s trash (especially during sex)

Dislikes: Herself, her parents, authority, water, people that want to have honest conversations about their feelings

Bio: Since middle school Gina’s life has been on a downward spiral. Abused **** and **** severely, and dropped out of high school after attending a whopping 4 days of class. Appearance: A youthful appearance; that is to say, she has a baby face and hasn’t grown an inch since she was 15. Barely 5’1” with small breasts, small hips, small waist, you get the picture. A girl thoroughly cheated when God was handing out the puberty DLC. Tends to wear her brown hair in a sloping ponytail. Has brown eyes and wears glasses. Dresses smartly with fancy styles.

Likes: Animals in general, but especially cats. Gymnastics, yoga, and reading books. A big fan of tea, she has a hobby of collecting different brands from the places she travels. Smart people.

Dislikes: Working overtime, the pressure of having to be “perfect”, the way her family looks at her during the holidays for having no love life and five cats. People who try to manipulate others, stupid people.

Bio: Dawn was the smartest girl in her school. You know the one. Always with her head buried in a book, always sitting in the front row, one hand raised eagerly to answer the teacher while the other scribbled furiously on her notes. She was an award-winning gymnast throughout most of her youth, but a combination of age and devotion to her studies led her to step away from it. In spite of her cute looks her dating life is nonexistent due to a combination of her insanely high standards and the fact that most men don’t want to date a girl who looks so young they might be questioned by the police if they went out on a date.

Job: Unemployed, unless going on anime forums and bashing ships she doesn’t agree with counts as gainful employment

Appearance: Dresses like a slob, but that’s about where the “doesn’t take care of herself” part stops. Incredibly toned with a very athletic and muscular physique. She has blue hair in a pixie cut and the dull, lifeless green eyes of someone who knows the closest thing she’ll get to fulfillment is watching her favorite animated couple making out.

Likes: Het romance anime where the childhood friend wins, yuri anime, drawing, dating sims that let you pursue multiple girls at the same time, sexy cosplay, streamers who show off their cleavage, going to the gym, typing 40 page essays in defense of her favorite series, and that one anime that she swears is deep and meaningful and really needs to have bouncing boobs shoved in your face every 2 minutes because plot reasons.

Dislikes: Shitty tsunderes who ruin the love prospects of diligent, hardworking girls due to plot armor, clichéd tropes, “yuri” anime where the girls never get together, the very concept of getting a job, dudebros at the gym who think a sports bra = consent, literally any ship that is not the one she wants to happen, anybody who disagrees with her interpretation of that one philosophical anime that was intentionally left open-ended but true fans like her know what the author really meant.

Bio: Dani was a talented artist in high school, and with Nick’s support she even decided to try going to a special art college. Within a month she realized that she’d never cut it as a pro and dropped out, moving back in with her folks. Now lazes about the house all day, and the only time she leaves is to go work out at the gym, since getting sweaty helps work off her frustration at her own life going nowhere. Has been grappling with the fact that she’s a lesbian for several years, but her sedentary lifestyle and crippling social anxiety mean that, like Nick, her opportunities for dating are nonexistent.

Bio: Met Nick at their dorm party in college and the two quickly became fast friends. Had a “will they, won’t they” thing going that seemed like it could be getting serious at several different points, but never amounted to anything because he wanted a relationship and she would have preferred a casual hookup. Appearance: Cute as cherub with a sweet smile and sparkling brown eyes. Curly brown hair tied up in a ponytail and a penchant for dresses with a lot of lace and sweaters. Rather short with a slight chest, small hips, and a decent ass.

Likes: Books, cooking, baking, writing, cute animals, reaching out to people who could really use a friend, warning people about bad people that shouldn’t be trusted

Dislikes: Bullies, liars, people who talk about other people behind their backs, fake friends, people who betray her, Nick

Bio: She and Nick were in the same writing club, and became close when he offered to help her with her physics homework. During that time, he developed a crush on her, but when he asked her out she gently turned him down. He got depressed by this and tried to put some space between the two of them, which lead to her starting to resent him because it nearly put her grade in jeopardy. When she learned that he’d been venting about his feelings to his friends that was the last straw and she cut ties with him right there for gossiping about her. Then she proceeded to talk to all their friends about how Nick betrayed her and talked about her behind her back, leading to the implosion of his social life and the downward spiral that’s lead him to this point.

She wears conservative dresses and never goes anywhere without her rosary. Has small breasts, but makes up for it with a nice bubble butt, not that she sees her generous curves as a good thing.

Likes: Praying, doing the right thing, writing, wholesome romances, true love, fidelity, chastity, helping others, modest clothing

Dislikes: People doing things that she considers immoral or wrong, pre-marital hand-holding, sacrilegious activities, sinners, bad people, urban fantasy novels, her parents’ pressure to find a husband and have children, the fluttery feeling she gets between her legs when she thinks about boys

Bio: Nick’s underclasswoman and a member of their writing group, the two were very close and would often look over each other’s work in private. It was thanks to her help and support that he was able to get his book published, and fresh after getting his heart broken by Holly, he fell in love with her. She’s always wanted to fall in love and get married, but due to her faith she refuses to be intimate until marriage, something Nick was fine with. But before she could give him her answer, she learned from Holly and several of their other friends that he was actually a two-faced liar, and immediately cut off all contact with him. The other catalyst for Nick’s downward spiral. After college she moved back in with her parents while trying to get her book published, but can’t find a publisher willing to pick it up. In the meantime, she deals with constant pressure from her parents to find a man and get married and make babies as the lord intended.

Job: Former cashier at the grocery store he shops at, current university student studying economics, along with about a dozen other things. If it's "minimum wage" she's probably done it at some point.

Appearance: Cute smile, straight black hair, Asian descent, and hazel-colored eyes. She’s proud that her figure is decidedly average, since she’s not a fan of drawing too much attention to herself. Prefers to dress down.

Likes: Working hard, her step-father, her siblings, part-time jobs, studying, making money, gardening, going on nature walks, people who try their best, going shopping (but she has to hold back from doing so)

Dislikes: Her deadbeat biological father, people who do nothing with their lives, those who make fun of people who are trying their best, trust fund babies, taking unnecessary risks, and the existential realization that our economy is getting worse with every passing day and wages haven’t risen to meet the growing cost of living.

Bio: Kim is a hardworking gal who believes that an honest day’s work deserves an honest day’s pay. Her father has been in and out of her life for years before abandoning his family and refusing to pay child support, leaving her mother dependent on her welfare checks to raise three children. To support her family she’s been working hard at several part-time jobs, including as a cashier at the local grocery store. There she met Nick and the two hit it off. He explained how he’s been working on trying to get back out there in the world and maybe continue with his writing, which she encouraged him to do. She grew to enjoy the times when they’d chat, as he was one of the few customers she had who treated her like a person. Unfortunately she had to quit that job because it conflicted with her school schedule. Is currently taking classes as the community college to get a degree in economics. Her mother recently remarried and she couldn’t be happier.
