Start the mission

At the height of the summer season it is one of the so-called paradise planets of the sector. However the winters are long and unforgiving, and thus far this prohibited the planet from becoming one of the large population centers of the area. What makes the situation worse is that the planet is right at the edge of Zetan territory, with no major military base in the area. So even if someone would be willing to put up with the winters, they also have to take into account that the military's response time is abysmal, marking the planet as an excellent destination for the raiders.

Except in this case there was no military response at all. The alien craft landed at the edge of one of the small settlements scattered around the globe. And the zetans let them roam around, taking whomever they please in their path of conquest. But that is why you fancy this mission. Alongside with the whole operation the Caregiver put together. Small planets need to defend themselves. And who the heck else could serve as the best defense than the very spacers who live their lives robbing the area?
