The companies had reviewed your background and experience and have decided to proceed with other candidates who meet their needs more closely at this time.

You were given a position at Star Pacific Cruise as part of their team in Housekeeping. You will report to Julie on 1st June and your internship will last for 6 months until 1st December, during the 6 months, you are expected to be overseas and you will not have any form of cellular network.

Star Pacific owns and operates 60 ships with an aggregate capacity of approximately 183,150 berths under it's Star Pacific International Brand. Star Pacific ships offer a selection of itineraries that call on approximately 618 destinations in 118 counties, covering all seven continents.

As part of the Housekeeping, your job includes bellman, receptionist, cabin steward, laundry for the cruise ship, Starlight.

You looked at the email in disbelief. So instead of getting some cool internship like Facebook and Google, you have to work for a stupid cruise ship. And not allowed to go home for weeks! (Frankly speaking, even if they allow you to go home, there's no way you can swim home!)
