Standard intern work, mostly...

Molly rushes back to her cubicle and sits abruptly to collect herself. Although rationally she understands that people have better things to do, the entire walk back to her desk she was preoccupied wondering if people could tell that she was no longer wearing a bra. The intern built up a bit more of a blush on the way and takes a few moments to calm herself down with deep breaths. Molly had missed a few emails and messages while she was... busy, so she buckles down to answer them.

More messages pile in over the afternoon and Molly dives into the work. She still wants to prove herself and works hard to do so. Within a few hours, she's cleaned out her inbox again and has started taking on side projects like documenting old processes and labelling/organizing files. It's surprising how much work she's given on her first real day, but Hero HQ is such a big organization that it makes sense. Frequently, Molly has to leave her desk to run files around, make copies, or print and file some papers, but she doesn't get called into another hero's office.

The end of the day starts to roll around and Molly wraps up. Just before she shuts her computer off, Gabrielle comes around to Molly's desk. "I normally come around to new hires at the end of the first few days to make sure they're getting on okay, but you seem to be already making yourself indispensable." The manager's left eyebrow raises as though she's surprised. "Think you can keep up the pace long-term?" Molly smiles and nods enthusiastically. "Absolutely, ma'am. All of the materials I'm working with are super interesting to me, so I'm glad to be doing even basic intern work."

Gabrielle nods slowly with respect. "Well I appreciate the hard work. If you're up for one more challenge, there are some boxes of evidence that Beast Babe is finished with in her office if you want to grab that before heading out for the day. I figure a go-getter like you, especially a hero fan, would be amenable to this?" Molly's eyes widen. Beast Babe? She's not as well known in pop culture, but as usual, Molly is a fan. "Uh, sure thing! I'll go grab that and make sure it's delivered to the right person right now." Gabrielle smiles thinly and gives her directions to Beast Babe's office before walking off.

Molly's heart start pounding. At first with excitement at meeting another one of her idols, but then some apprehension creeps in. Cold Snap wasn't exactly what she expected, would Beast Babe be just as... forward? Only one way to find out...
