Stab her!

You steel yourself and pull the knife out from its hiding place. If you don't act now, then it's all over. It won't matter if you get harmed in this fight or not. You'll be left to the demons if Akina fails. Clutching at the dagger you rush forward at the demon. Her back is turned to you and you thrust the blade into her side with all of your might.

The blade meets its mark and sinks into her flesh. The demon shouts in pain and with barely any hesitation you pull the blade back out. Black blood splatters from the wound and covers your hands. You feel the hot blood burn your skin, but you ignore it and thrust back towards the creature as you hope to cause as much damage as possibly. Before you manage another jab with the blade, a pair of black wings suddenly rip themselves out from the back of the girl's dress. They quickly extend and closest one collides against you with great ****. You get thrown back against the wall.

Clutching at your burned hands, you watch helplessly as the demon turns and towers over you. Her blade in her hand as she gives you a deadly stare. The wound that you inflicted continues to bleed and you can see the trickle of black run down and stain the outside of her dress. "You little cunt." She hisses and lifts her blade and she readies herself to thrust it into your body.

Suddenly, a blade sprouts from her neck. She gasps and turns in shock to stare at Akina in surprise. The purple blade disappears from her hand and Akina slides her short sword out of the demon's throat. Collapsing to the ground, the succubus slowly melts into a puddle of black ichor. The shocked expression continues on her face until it disappears into the bubbling goo on the floor, leaving the two of you alone and panting in the room.

Akina rushes over to you, "Anna...Are you okay?"

"My hands..." Your hands feel like they're on fire.

She kneels down "Let me see..." Gently holding your wrists, she turns your hands over and examines your burns for a moment. It feels like the longest few moments of your life before she makes a prognosis, "You'll be okay, they are not bad burns. I should wrap it, so that you can hold stuff without being in too much pain." Looking around for a moment, she takes your knife for a moment and cuts a few strips off the bed and carefully wraps it around your hands.

You wince as the cool fabric touches your burned hands, but you can't deny that after a moment they feel a little better. After she finishes, you clench your hands to see how much dexterity you have. Akina carefully avoided wrapping the knuckles too tightly, so your hands had most of it's range of movement. "Thank you..."

Chucking, she helps you up, "We will need to get them properly tended to when better help is available, but I should be thanking you. I don't think I could have lasted much longer against that demon. We have a problem though...There was only supposed to be one demon. Why is there suddenly a second one?"

"Obviously our knowledge of the situation is out of date." You stare down at the puddle on the floor. It has stopped bubbling and is slowly seeping into the floor boards. Hopefully nobody on the floor below notices...although the black stain that's appearing where the liquid once was is going to be much harder to get out.

"I don't like that..." Akina mutters, "What should we do now?"

The plan was to find evidence and expose the King as a fraud. Originally you had considered finding the Royal Bedroom and searching it. However, considering this was also a demon's room. There may be evidence here as well. In a way, it was fortunate that you came out when you did.She likely would have gone to warn your mother that you were here and you never would have known until it was too late. The likelihood of escape would have been low. Still...for the moment, the threat is over and you need to decide what the next step of your plan is.
