Squats

“We don’t need a special equipment to work those glutes. All we need is classic squats,” Janice said. “Come on. Right here. Drop those hips. Give me 100 good squats. Your motivation? When you complete those 100 squats, you will be done and then we can finish up.”

Lauren nodded. For some reason, she felt a bit more confident as she did the squats. She didn’t feel as embarrassed as she had felt at the start of her workout. As she worked, she found herself grinning. She was happy she decided to do this. She felt for the first time like there was hope for her yet. She was so caught up in her workout, she didn’t realize when she hit 100 until Janice said. “Alright let’s hit the showers. You did a good job today, Lauren. I can tell you about my plans for you while you wash yourself.”

Lauren nodded. “Okay.”

Lauren followed Janice to the showers and hopped in. Janice then began to explain her plans to Lauren. “I want you coming in everyday until we really get into the groove. You come in at 1 PM and we’ll work until around 5 PM, longer if it’s necessary. But we’ll go through rotations. Tomorrow we’ll work pure cardio. Then the next day we’ll work more on those legs and thighs. And then the next we’ll work chest and glutes. We’ll continue this until we get a groove going. Don’t miss a single day. And also, don’t bother with clothes. You come to the gym, strip your clothes off, and then you meet me in the main area by 1 PM sharp. If you’re not here, I’ll add some punishments for you and also will extend the workout longer. Now normally I charge money after the first session, but as long as you put in the effort and keep coming in on time and cooperate, it’ll be free of charge.”

“Thank you so much,” Lauren said. “I... I really mean it. At the beginning I felt so... insecure, but now... I can’t explain it.”

“That’s what working out does for you,” Janice said. “Especially working out properly.”

Lauren climbed out of the shower and Janice handed Lauren a towel. Lauren dried herself off. “I... didn’t bring a change of clothes,” Lauren blushed.

Janice grinned. “Maybe it’s time to work on that confidence.”

Lauren blushed. “Please, can you help me?”

Janice contemplated. “Just this once,” Janice said as she reached into a locker and pulled out a large shirt.

She tossed it at Lauren who caught it. Lauren put it on. The shirt was like a short dress as it easily reached Lauren’s thighs. Lauren blushed at the size difference but had a grateful look. “Thank you again, Janice. This... wasn’t do bad.”

“Just come back tomorrow and see if you keep saying that,” Janice said as Lauren grabbed her bag and made her way out of the locker room and to her car.
