What do you do?
Spy on Elizabeth and her family.
You know you should just leave things be for a day or two, but you can't let go of the thought of the pretty girl-literally-next-door. After fidgeting for fifteen minutes, trying and failing to get back into your book, you decide to just give in and see what you can find out.
The only thing separating your house from theirs is a sparse hedge, so you bring the shears from the shed and pretend to trim the bushes while you look in through their really quite big windows.
