Spirits and Spades: Leah has a Jack and coke

Leah whipped herself up a Jack and coke. It had been a while since she had made a drink or two herself, she normally enjoyed them out at a bar or restaurant or a glass of wine at home. But even someone brain dead could pour some Jack Daniels into a glass then mix it with soda.

She returned to the table and gave Jonathan his drink. She sat down and they began their game in earnest. Jonathan was Leah's partner for the game--naturally.

The game started off and Leah and Jonathan were not able to read each other very well. Of course no table talk was allowed--not strategy talk at least. They played around and Luke called for a quick drink break.

He soon emerged with a tray of shots and offered them to everyone.
