Spirits and Spades: Just Jonathan takes a shot

"Shots already Luke?" Leah said with a grimace of judgement.

"What!? It's a holiday!" Luke defended himself.

"I'll take one." Jonathan said grabbing one off the tray.

"What about you Leah?" Luke asked.

"I'll pass for now. Thanks." Leah shuffled the cards getting ready for the next hand.

"What about you old man?" Luke proffered the tray to Tommy who took one.

"I'll show you whose old." he said raising his shot glass high. Everyone but Leah raised their glasses and took the shot.

The game continued and it was still rather close but Luke and Tommy had a strong set while Leah and Jonathan were sand bagging quite a bit.

"You need a drink honey?" Jonathan asked as he headed toward the kitchen.
