Spider and the Cat.

Early Monday Morning

Peter walked out of the alleyway next to the Daily Bugle in civilian clothes. Swinging to work saves allot of time especially in New York. Something Peter enjoys very well. The morning breeze did allot to clear his otherwise chaotic thoughts from the weekend. But Peter did love the sight of waking up to the sight of three attractive women who he loved in the morning. Peter might want to start getting used to that.

Peter made his journey inside the news organization and elevated up to the top offices. Making his way to Robbie’s office with the photo’s of the Spider-Man and Roxy Rocket aftermath so he could make some quick cash, he came across two always welcoming faces when he entered the Bugle…

“Peter! Heavens, you look absolutely stunning!” Gloria Grant hopped out of her desk to wrap Peter in an impressively strong hug and peck on the cheek. Grant and Peter never got romantically involved despite both flirting with the other.

The second person who came up to hug him was Betty Brant. One of Peters former girlfriends from high school. She approached Pete with a hug and a slight lip kiss. Like all of Peters former loves, Betty remained one of his good friends. Betty was currently involved with reporter Ned Leeds, another friend of Peter.

“I heard you two got promoted, congrats to you both.” Peter told the lovely ladies.

“You’re looking at the Bugles new reporting head of the online news team.” Betty said ecitedly.

“And I’ve been made assistant editor, Robbie is grateful for my help in the office.” Gloria cheered. “Buuut I hear that somebody has a fancy new living arrangement.”

Peter was surprised at Gloria. “How did you know?”

“MJ texted pictures of the new place.” Betty said showing her phone’s photo library. “So you, Red, and Gwen living together.” Betty gave a wink to Peter.

Gloria whistled. “Peter, you hunk of a man. How do you get that lucky!”

“That’s a question I haven’t figured out myself. Well enough about me, who wants my pristine photo catalog of yesterday’s action?” Peter held up a flash drive.

“I’ll take those, you always deliver the goods handsome. I’ll be back with your pay.” Gloria took the drive from Pete and headed down the office. Leaving Peter and Betty alone.

“So what’s new with you and Ned?” Peter asked the brown haired beauty. Betty’s smile faded instantly at the mention of Ned.

Peter felt the room get cold. “I’m sorry Betty, did I say something stupid again?”

“No Pete, it’s okay…Ned and I have…agreed to take a break.” Betty explained. Sitting down at her desk.

Peter grabbed a chair and sat down opposite to her. “Is everything good? You two were pretty set together.”

“Ned’s been working way too hard. Always taking his news assignments way too seriously. I’ve tried to get him to take time off with me, but he insisted on continuing his Oscorp investigation, then he goes with Jameson and Robbie to the U.N.” Betty complained. “Then I get promoted and Ned doesn't even acknowledge it. It’s maddening how little he cares about nothing but his spot as head reporter sometimes.”

Peter took note of the former assignment. He may need to probe Ned for information on the companies recent woes and whether Lexcorp was involved. Nevertheless, Peter reached over to put his hand on Betty’s. Showing her support.

“Give Ned time. He’ll learn soon enough he’s missing out on a wonderful woman such as yourself in no-time.” Peter told her.

Betty’s bright smile return when she heard Peter’s words. “Now I’m reminded of why I loved you back in the day. You always said the sweetest things.” Betty took Pete’s hand and held it softly. Her eyes never left his even as Gloria returned with an envelope filled with cash.

"I may have added a bonus in there...only cause your handsome." Gloria smirked.

"You’re the best Gloria, I gotta run, Seeya all later!" Peter gave Betty's hand a squeeze and literally took the money and ran.

"I hate to see him go, but I love to watch him leave." Gloria commented while she stared intently at Peter's exit. And Betty was watching along with her. Betty bit her lower lip as her mind raced with thoughts of Peter.

Peter opened a secret door of what looked like an outer ventilation unit, was actually a secret lair used by Black Cat. What made this hideout unique was that it was bigger on the inside, allow for a Ton more space. Speaking of the Black Cat, Felicia was working out on the pull up bars when Spider-Man walked in. She wore a black sports bra and shorts that showed of her toned sexy looks.

“I did some favors for Steven Strange and he gave me a few basic enchantments to spice up my hideouts, you like it?” Felicia called out.

“And I thought the Batcave was too much.” Peter joked. Felicia rolled her eyes and just walked up to the web-head and removed the mask to give him a long kiss.

“Now what’s the story with that disc in your hand?” Felicia asked.

“It just contains addresses to buildings Norman Osborn owns and for some reason Lex Luthor wants it. My best guess is he wants to find Gobbies secret weapons caches.” Peter explained.

“So what are you gonna do with it?”

Peter smiled. “I’m gonna give it to him. Actually, I want you to give it to him.”

Felicia eyes went wide at Peter’s words. “Umm, earth to Spider, are you serious?”

“You’re a well connected thief. You broke into Oscorp and stole the disc to make some fast cash. You’ll go to the drop off and give them the disc. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man just so happens to be there to save the day, web up the crooks and get some answers at Luthor’s scheme. Hell we might stop his plans all in one night.” Peter explained.

“I have…maybe a few concerns…But I’m in.” Felicia nodded.

“Don’t worry. We’re gonna have some backup. Super backup.” Peter reassured her.

“I heard you and Supergirl had a team up, you’re becoming quite the magnet for women Spider.”

“Easy cat, me and Kara are just friends.” Peter said rather cautiously, his mind drifted to the kiss he had with the girl of steel.

The Black Cat wrapped her arms around Peters neck. “You can’t deny you haven’t thought of her more intimately than that. I have no problem with that, and I bet neither Blondee or Redd would either.” Felicia said seductively.

“Who are you and what have you done to Felicia Har— Peter was cut off by a kiss from the white haired beauty. Suddenly all of Pete’s thoughts went blank and blood flow diverted south into his pants.
