Spending the evening with Emma
Mark followed Emma out of the bar, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as they headed up to her hotel room. He couldn't believe his luck that he was spending the night with Emma Watson, but at the same time, he didn't want to mess things up by saying or doing the wrong thing.
"Make yourself at home Mark. I'll be back in a minute. Just need to freshen up," she said, before adding, "and open up the champagne. I need a drink."
"Yes ma'am."
Mark opened the bottle of champagne and filled two glasses he found in the kitchen. He drank a large portion to calm his nerves and quickly refilled it so Emma wouldn't notice.
As he sipped his champagne, Emma returned to the living room with her hair down and her heels off and she looked a lot more relaxed and casual. Mark couldn't help but smile at how down-to-earth she was.
"Wow, you look even more beautiful," Mark said, raising his glass. Emma laughed taking a sip of her champagne.
They sat on the couch and started chatting, joking around and getting to know each other better. Emma was surprisingly funny and easy to talk to, and Mark found himself relaxing in her company. "So, what's your favourite hobby?" Mark asked, taking another sip of champagne.
Emma thought for a moment before replying, "Well, I'm a bit of a bookworm. I love to read, and I always have a book with me wherever I go."
Mark smiled. "That's great. I'm a big fan of reading too. What's your favourite book?"
Emma's eyes lit up. "Oh, that's a tough one. There are so many great books out there. But if I had to pick just one, I'd say 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. It's such a powerful story, and it always makes me think about the importance of standing up for what's right."
Mark nodded, impressed. "That's a great choice. I remember reading it in high school, and it really made an impact on me too."
They continued chatting and joking around for a while, but eventually, Emma suggested they play foosball. Mark agreed, and they headed over to the table in the corner of the room.
As they played, Mark couldn't help but notice how competitive Emma was. She had a fierce look in her eye as she tried to score against him, and Mark found himself getting caught up in the game too. They laughed and shouted as they played, cheering each other on and trash-talking in good fun.
At one point, Emma managed to score a goal, and she jumped up in excitement. Her hair was bouncing around her face, and her eyes were sparkling with joy. "You're pretty good at this," he said, grinning.
Emma shrugged. "I've had a lot of practice."
Just then, the doorbell rang, interrupting their game. Emma went to answer it, and Mark heard the sound of the hotel staff delivering their dinner. He couldn't help but feel impressed by the fancy spread laid out on the table when he joined Emma in the dining area.
They enjoyed the meal, savoring each bite and discussing everything from their favorite movies to their dreams and aspirations. Emma was a great conversationalist, and Mark found himself captivated by her intelligence and wit.
As they finished their meal, the hotel staff came in to clear away the plates and clean up. Emma thanked them before turning back to Mark. "I don't know about you, but I could use a little bit of entertainment. How about we watch a movie?" Emma suggested.
Emma scrolled through the movie options on the TV before settling on "The Shining." "Have you seen this one before?" she asked, turning to Mark. Mark shook his head. "No, I haven't. But I've heard it's a classic. Should be good."
