Spell testing

Yulia casts Cloak on herself and this immediately reveals two things about the spell. Visibly Yulia cloaked looks no different to the voices and while the cloak is on, God's Light does not seem to refill her mana. Seemingly an active magical effect prevents it's passive mana regen. Yulia then also uses cloak on Maple and finds that indeed cloak can be used on multiple people at once. While yulia remains visible to the voices while cloaked, Maple seems to vanish from view.

"Just to be clear... I can't see either of you now," Lri states for good measure.

"I can't see Maple anymore so being cloaked doesn't seem to let you see other cloaked figures and being the caster doesn't seem to let you see through it either," Yulia adds, seemingly startling Lri who she had moved closer to invisibly before speaking.

Yulia places down a gas grenade and tries to cloak it. It does nothing, "seems like it only affects people not items, though it does clearly also affect all equipped and held items. Yulia picks up the grenade and turns to Lri, "can you see it?" she asks. Lri shakes her head. Yulia tosses it into the air and catches it.

"Ah I saw it for a second!" Lri states.

"Alright so a held item is invisible, but becomes visible as soon as it stops being held," Yulia notes. Yulia dispels cloak from herself and Maple and immediately once it's been dispelled Yulia's mana regens again.

Lri uses the veil and Yulia tries to cast cloak on her, but it fails, "I can't target her with cloak while she's veiled," Yulia explains. Lri unveils and Yulia casts cloak on her. Lri then attempts to veil while cloaked and Yulia shakes her head, "I felt it dispel, I don't think they stack and the veil dispels cloak," Yulia says.

"Last test..." Yulia mutters cloak on herself and Lri remains veiled.

"Yeah no I'm not letting you grope me!" Lri remarks while hidden.

"Don't worry I thought of a better test," Yulia remarks from right beside Maple who is of course shocked by the realization Yulia is right next to her and then gasps as her ears flatten against her head.

"Ah hey don-" Maple starts to argue before suddenly biting her lip as her eyes close and her hands clench into fists.

"Oh wow you like that, huh?" Yulia says still clearly cloaked and Maple fidgets as her ears move clearly being pet and played with by Yulia.

"N... Nuh... Stop..." Maple groans out even as a gentle purring noise starts. Yulia stops and Maple quickly puts her hands on her head protectively, blushing furiously.

She then suddenly jumps with a yelp as a loud smack is heard, "ah Yulia!" she yells angrily and Yulia still cloaked responds.

"Sorry... I didn't think petting you was enough of a test though... I'm kind of surprised that spank didn't uncloak me..." Yulia says her voice carrying her surprise.

"Headpats and spanking both don't uncloak you?" Lri asks unveiling.

"Seems like it..." Yulia says her voice thoughtful, "I... I don't think actions dispel the cloak?" Yulia says after a bit.

"You mean you can just straight up fight while invisible? That's insane!" Lri responds.

"That certainly has its advantages," Maple agrees still blushing and flustered, but distracted from her current state by this intriguing new knowledge.

"Alright so we cloak Maple and I and Lri veils and maybe we can get to Maple's Workshop without having to fight anything!" Yulia suggests.

"Yeah let's do it!" Maple agrees.

The three get onto the train and head to engineering, Yulia casting cloak on and off repeatedly as the train moves to try and master it, but makes sure they're all cloaked as the train comes to a stop. As the train stops and the doors open the three invisible women exit into the engineering terminal. The normal shops are here though Goma and Martin's are notably blocked by heavy steel gates currently. Most likely so that Martin is protected from the clearly visible enemies in this terminal.

The terminal is in a state of strange disrepair in that everything looks pristine, but is covered with a layer of the now familiar stasis slime, the source being a number of mobile stasis slimes. Large gelatinous creatures that are roaming around the terminal seemingly looking for something. They leave a trail of slime behind them as they move and notably there are also two ceiling mounted turrets monitoring the terminal. Yulia freezes seeing the turrets, but one passes right over her to her relief, it appears the cloak is rendering them invisible to the turrets as well. The slimes continue to mill about as the turrets seem to just be monitoring them. The women step out of the train carefully. There are exit doors leading out of the terminal and the group slowly make their way towards the doors, however just as they are about to reach the doors a machine exits. It's one of the Jasper types and it emerges and bumps into Yulia knocking her on her ass, while it pays her no mind and approaches the slimes, her gasp seems to have alerted the slimes, she's still cloaked seemingly, but the slimes are now approaching her location and the turrets are similarly turning towards the three alerted to the presence of... something, but not yet certain as to what.

Meanwhile the Jasper begins to clean up the slime trails, seemingly also storing the slime as it cleans it, explaining where the stasis slime comes from. Maple quickly helps Yulia to her feet as the slimes are closing in. They could likely just run through the doors and escape outside. The slimes and turrets clearly can't see them still, but are vaguely aware that someone or something is here and are searching for them.

"We should run, quickly try to get to my workshop," Maple hisses urgently in a whisper.

"The cloak is working, but if they know someone was here, they might be on guard if we continue forward, maybe we should retreat for the moment?" Lri suggests in an equally urgent whisper.
