"You know her?" Your eyes glance between them.

"You know her?" Lynx asks.

"She was at the meeting of the Demon Kings alongside William."

"Ah. So that's what you're doing these days."

The two one-eyed gals stare at one another for a moment. Stilet then leans in closer, and brushes a hand back through her hair. She maintains a stoic, piercing expression--a cold demeanour fit for such an edgy looking assassin. "That is a cute outfit you have on, but it does not fit you."

Lynx crosses her arms and hops up from her seat. She looks as if she's about to speak, but doesn't respond. Then she looks to you. "We uhm... had a bit of a thing, way back."

You look between them and can't help but imagine. Two rogues, both wearing eye patches, and cute girls. Though you don't know much about this Stilet girl, she has quite the reputation, according to what Kashura said back at the meeting. "Well this is perfect timing, Stilet, because I actually have a few questions."

Slowly, the elf crosses her arms and looks you over. "I heard. You seek information on the--"

"No," you cut her off. Unlike the others, you remain seated, choosing the lean back on the counter as you return her gaze with your own piercing stare. "Grenmila."

Her brow twitches. "I am uncertain of who that is, though the Hero King--"

Once again, you cut her off. "You know exactly who that is." As you stare, you try your hardest to open your senses. Through her hard exterior, it's difficult to read what she's thinking, though your Kitty Sense tells you she's hiding something. She definitely knows the name you just mentioned.

"You would speak to me in that tone?"

"I would. Because thanks to Grenmila, me and my party almost died. She poisoned the Elder Tree, and it was that druid who was spying on us. She wasn't working for Elok though, was she? His automatons showed up, and she had no connection with them at all. Vex likely wouldn't be spying on me. Not after what we went through together. So that leaves on Demon King that I know about. So, Stilet. Tell me. Is William spying on Castle Phoenix?"

She squints. "I was willing to share some information on the king at least, but now you will know nothing."

Mina takes a deep breath and then clears her throat to gather the other's attention. "Excuse me. My name is Mina, and I represent Shadow Garden. We've had dealings with you in the past I believe," she explains with her tiny hand out to shake.

"Mm. This is true," Stilet replies. "What is your point?"

"We haven't met yet, and I think we might have work for you, unrelated to what was just being discussed over there." She keeps her hand up.

The elf rolls her eyes and moves over to shake, though not without caution. She grabs the squeakin's wrist instead and grips it firmly. "Fine. I have no other business here anyway."

While she may look cute, Mina's lips suddenly contort into a mischievous grin. "I gotcha." She pulls away, leaving behind a small silver bracelet around the other girl's arm. "Should have shaken my hand, huh?"

"Ah! What is this?" Stilet reacts with immediate panic, but she can't tug it off. Somehow, it's locked tight against her skin.

"The thing that's going to make you listen to Kyle over there. Rose is only one of my bosses now, and I won't tolerate that kind of attitude towards either of them." She looks to you as she grasps a strange small orb in her hands. "It's all you now."

"What do you mean?" you ask.

Stilet is half a second away from making a sound, but just before she does, her hand slaps against her lips to muffle whatever was about to come out. Colour slowly starts to fill her face, and you notice her legs wobble. The cold assassin may be a pro when it comes to acting calm and composed, but right now, that's being tested. Whatever is happening to her, she's struggling hard remain relaxed.

"It's only set to level one," Mina says.

Ah... Of course. Makes me wonder if this is what she did to that devil guy. Either way, I don't know why I expected anything else. This is perfect. "Thanks, Mina." You nod. "Let's see how willing she is to talk now."
