South, To the Lake

Fearing the dangers of society and knowing to be more prudent you decide to go to the lake. Is not entirely out of the way of the village but it allows you a good source of water and food as animals tend to crowd to lakes.

After fully thinking out what your plan will be you look around.

Beside you is a neatly packed half leather half cloth backpack with a rolled up cot on top. Next to the backpack are some leather shoes and a cloth tent set with a small metal pot. Flipping open the metal latch you find some basic necessity are packed inside like clothes and water and some small rations mostly made of dried fruit and nuts with small amounts of jerky. A small note made of weathered paper sits inside, written on it are some kind words from the deity who guided you here.

Who knows how many years is soon for such a being but it's still a kind gesture. Perhaps you should make it your goal to meet with the kind deity some time in the future. You take the back pack, wrap up the tent and clip it onto our backpack then hang the pot on the outside of your back pack. With these extra supplied in hand you now feel more prepared for the journey to the lake you look to the sky to check where the sun is and notice you have plenty of time to make it there

Lastly you slip on your new roughly hewn leather shoes before setting on your trail to the lake.
