Souls: The source of super powers

The soul. The spark granted every to every person by The Creator. The ultimate source if magic, super powers, Psionics, super science, and such: Souls produce energy from nothing, and are capable of growth with nothing supplying them. This power can do work on the world, in defiance of classic physics.

Some souls are naturally stronger or weaker than others, but all can be exercised and trained. One who has learned how to harness the power of their soul can do wonders: Magic, super powers, 'scientific' marvels that defy conventional physics, the powers of the mind, and so on. Someone who has exercised their soul to the point they can manifest such effects will always end up with some form of theme: Specific things they can do, how they do things, how their poewer manifests, and so on. Each general category has it's own benefits and drawbacks.

Do note that one hero will often have powers from multiple categories: E.g., The Enchantress will have spells, but also a few 'Spells' that she uses often enough as to act as classic super powers.
