Chapter 339

What does your mother have to do with this?
Something you should be asking more in hindsight
"What does it say?" You ask holding out a hand for it. Gabrielle gives it another once over before handing it over.
Dear Christopher,
You need divine magic, not necessary Goddess magic, to give Gabrielle a ride.
Love, Zara
You read don't quite that the letter's meaning. Well you do but you are also trying to figure out which meaning your mother meant. Does she mean a ride back to her original world, or a ride as in ... You look up at the thin, unkempt, and in **** need of a bath women.
"Where do we get divine magic?" Gabrielle asked Clare who took the letter and smirked at you, she clearly decided on her interpretation.
"Well, there are a few ways." You could hear Clare adding a sultry hint to her voice. "But getting it can be, intense."
"Ok, fine, whatever it is I'll do it." Her excitement was palpable.
Clare swayed her hips around the table and sat on it next to Gabrielle, spreading her legs a little. "Are you sure, I do mean," she leaned down to whisper, "intense."
Gabrielle leaned away. "Just tell me." She demanded.
"Get under the table and suck Christopher's cock." Clare said loudly.
"What?" Both you and Gabrielle asked.
"On your knees," Clare put her leg over Gabrielle's head so her spread legs were now spread around her, "climb under the table so your can see his lovely, thick, hard cock," she reached down to run a hand through Gabrielle's hair and used the handhold to make her face you, "open that cute little mouth of yours, wrap it around his cock, look up into his eyes and bob your head back and forth until he floods your mouth with his cum."
Gabrielle didn't answer, just look at you with what you think is horror. "What?"
Clare doesn't look at you, holding Gabrielle still, seeing if she would comply. When it become very clear she won't she sighed. "Divine magic is what the two of you have, the boost my sister and I gave you. As far as using it to travel to an different world. Well, it's never been tried in this one so I don't know it if will work."
"Aren't you a Goddess?" Gabrielle asked shimmying out of Clare grasp to get up and walk to her trunk.
"Former Goddess, currently mortal. Also without divine magic, only the champions have that. Both my sister and I are a part of this world and this world alone." Clare got onto all fours on the table and crawled over you to, laying down and reaching up to stroke your face affectionately when she neared.
"Then why were you asking me to." Gabrielle looked at you and scrunched up her face.
"Because he's a big softy and will do just about anything for the people he cares about." She cupped your cheek and flipped over so she could kiss you. "It's a good start to giving you a ride." She gave a pervy smirk.
Gabrielle looked at you as she considered the apparent option. "No, wait." You held up a hand, this was fill more than a little coercive. "Look Zara was my mother and she, could predict the future."
"Your mother?"
"In this world."
"Oh." Gabrielle look like she was almost turning up her nose as you said that.
"Anyway," you hurry past whatever that was, "if you really want to go back, after eighteen years, I'll help."
"If I?" She looked nervous.
"N-no, no," you shake your head, "Clare a perv, you don't have do anything like that."
"So, if I, support you in beating her sister," she pointed at Clare, "you'll find a way to send me back?" You open your mouth to agree when a tear forms in her eye. "Why can't I just go home, I didn't want to come here, I just want to go home." She sunk to her knees as tears started to form.
You looked at Clare who seemed concerned. You'd already explained that she'd died in her last world that is why she is here. Clare gave you a nudge. "Why do you need to go home?"
Gabrielle was silent for a long moment before she explained. "We are at war. Demons are invading, they'd pushed us back to our last city. Our whole world had been conquered, everyone not in the city had been enslaved or killed. I was a priestess selected by our goddess to help the Hero of our world slay the Demon King, he had a blessed sword that could finally destroy the Demon's Heart after the current Demon King was killed before another demon ate it and became the new Demon King. There were twenty of us when we left. When we reached the Demon King's palace there was only me and the Hero left. The others," she chocked up but pushed down the feelings, "didn't make it. During the fight with the Demon King the Hero put the sword though it's chest but then, it went black." She started sobbing again. "I-I have to go back, I have to save, to see, I have to go back." She started crying again.
You had no way to respond to that, you'd been killed by a truck, she'd gone through a PTSD educing nightmare and been dumped here without explanation. You got out of the chair knelt down in front of her and said, "I'll help." She looked up at you. "I don't know how yet, but I'll get you back," She blinked and wiped her eyes.
"After you and her beat her sister." Gabrielle sounded dejected.
"No."
"Christopher." Clare said to try and stop you.
"No." You looked at Clare and shook your head. "I'll get home as soon as we figure out how. My mother's letters have been, inconsistent, but she'd not, lied about anything. There is a way, and we'll find it."
Gabrielle wiped her eyes and stared at you. Rather than say anything she jumped onto you hugging you tightly against her as she started crying again. Her aura throughout all of this had been a turmoil of hope, dejection, disgust and horror. As she hugged you however it was overcome with a loneliness. You felt her opening up a little and pulled her aura inside you. There was only one thing you felt and became acutely aware of. She was totally alone, she didn't have anyone because she was sacred she'd be pulled from this world as well. She hadn't known she'd died, there was no bight light and a moment of revelation like you'd had, she just stopped being in her world.
You patted her hair and felt discomfort in her own body. The reason she took no care of her body was because it wasn't hers. Putting your hands down you let her hug you, squeeze you as she cried into your top. You don't know how long it was until her sobbing feel silent and you felt her snore but it was long enough you knew you needed to be at the palace. You were loath to let her go right now so you gave Clare a look.
"No molesting in her sleep I know." She didn't sound happy about that and you raised an eyebrow. "Or molesting myself with her hands." She mock sulked then gently pulled Gabrielle off you. "Are you sure about this? One potential, even one as weak as her could make the difference, and her world might have gotten worse, that hero might not have won. You could be sending to hell."
You look at the sleep woman. "Yeah, we'll cross that reality when it comes to it." You have thought about it, the moment she'd said the hero had stabbed the Demon King you wondered if she'd been killed as a last act. You left the pair ruminating as you hurried to the palace, thankfully a short walk from the library.
Are you on time for the wardrobe change?

Reborn into Calitian
You are reborn into another world of magic and fantasy. How you live is your choice, the consequences are as well.
The world of Calitian is a world of magic whose sentient inhabitants vary from human to decidedly not. You are rather unexpectedly reborn into this world however you do not get the expected god delivered spiel about said rebirth so you are on your own. This should be interesting.
