Something new and never seen before...

Everything hurts. You feel like your whole new body is being atomized and those atoms are being split into their constituent particles and causing those particles to explode afterwards.

A feminine laugh catches your eye, making you look around. Ariel looks fucking cocky, even when he's lost his wings and all his clothes, giving you an unobstructed view of the now spectral femboy's body. You assume that the spectral status is caused because he is now your guardian.

"You see, I never trusted you,” he tells you with a laugh. "So I destabilized your body taking advantage of your request to merge your new light core with the one you already had."

What? Isn't he supposed to be your guardian? That should stop him from being able to harm you!

"Oh, I know what you're thinking. The thing is, I programmed the core before I was your guardian, so I was able to do it without repercussions."

"Shouldn't you be helping me now?" You manage to say between gasps of pain.

"The only possible cure for what is happening to you is to remove one of your cores. By becoming your guardian, I have lost the power to do that. My intention was to **** you to lose your dark core after you spawn, not to kill you, but…"

He clearly doesn't care. He is obliged to protect you, yes, but always within his ability to act. Also, your **** will free him from being your guardian, so it's a favorable situation for him.

"Son of a bitch…" You manage to growl.

Your gamer HUD shows you random numbers. It's clearly trying to display your stats, but your instability is preventing things from working properly, something that the constant weird symbols and glitches reaffirm, not to mention the error popups flashing in front of you. You're tearing apart, and there's absolutely nothing you can do.

"I wish this was a video game. That way I could try to access to developer mode…"

Suddenly everything stops, literally. Your body stops aching, your environment freezes in grayscale, and your HUD stops showing errors. Even Ariel has been paused, so to speak.

The popup in front of you disappears before being replaced by another. The words 'loading subsystems' are displayed in huge green letters next to a rapidly filling progress bar. Just as it finishes filling up, a bright flash blinds you and you feel unconsciousness overtaking you...
