Something mundane

Her hand was soft and felt nice to touch. She guided him up the stairs, while giving him a view of her perfectly shaped ass.

"Shit..."

He muttered when a needle of pain pierced his knee.

"Come on!" Lisa turned her head and smiled at him lustfully. It was obvious she wanted to get into his bedroom as soon as possible.

Andreas gritted his teeth, and overcame the pain. Just a few more steps, he thought, and we are there. And then we can...

"To the bedroom!"

Lisa laughed.

A dozen seconds later they were inside, and Andreas closed the doors.

She instantly went for his bed, removing her sporty attire, and sitting there in just her lingerie. The red bra and lace panties certainly made Andreas double think of what he was about to do.

"Come on. Remove them with your hands. Or use something else, I still remember how skilled your tongue is..." She teased.

But Andreas was having none of it. He grabbed a nearby chair, and put it in the way were back part of it concealed his rising boner.

Andreas looked away, so he didn't have to stare at her body. He focused on the small lamp next to his bed. It was on, but barely gave out any light. He thought that he needs to switch a lightbulb inside of it

"We need to talk."

She raised herself on her elbows.

"Talk?"

"Yes. And by that I mean that I will talk and you should listen what I have to say. You've ignored my attempts throughout the whole evening, but now I need you to be attentive and focused. Can you do that for me?" He asked.

"But..." She raised her finger and pointed at the place between her legs.

"Can you listen to me?" He repeated, this time with a stern voice.

She nodded.

"Good. First of all, let's get some thing clear. I will not fuck you tonight."

"What?" She asked surprised. "Are you feeling unwell? Usually you are so horny for me after being so long apart..."

"I know." He admitted. "That is one of the things I was thinking about. Whenever we are apart for some time, first thing we do when we see each other again is sex."

"Yeah? What's wrong with it?" Lisa looked confused.

"I used to think that nothing was wrong with it. But now I see that we conditioned ourselves to be just with each other in this twisted parody of a relationship. Tell me, how many partners did you have when you were now in Spain?"

She looked away.

"None..."

"Exactly. And whenever you are gone, I'm waking up with a boner thinking how good would it feel to ram it into you."

She smiled at his choice of words.

"I mean... You can now. Not like anyone is stopping you."

He shook his head.

"No. It stops. I can't..." He took a deep breath. "I can't move on from the past as long as we are doing this. As long as there is a chance at us ever going back together into something that resembled my old life. It's not coming back, and... And I can't let it continue to happen. I can't let this one dream, the one about you, go on. I'm sorry, Lisa. You are a great friend and I can't thank you enough for the things you've done for me, but this, this one thing, has to stop if we ever want to move on."

They looked each other in the eyes. Studied each other. Looked for any kind of follow up or answer.

"You are... It's her, isn't it?"

She sat up straight.

"That Lamia. I brought her into your life, I gave her my recommendation, and that's what I get..." Lisa was getting mad.

"No." Andreas raised his hand. "I thought about it before she even arrived. She only reinforced this feeling and made me feel... She made me feel ready to finally move on. And I am ready."

She closed her eyes.

"I... Sorry, it's hard for me to... You know..."

"Accept the change and move on?" He finished for her.

"Yes."

The long silence followed. Andreas looked out through the window. It was dark outside.

"And as for Sally... I like her. I think she likes me. Whether something more happens because of it is still a mystery to both of us."

Lisa nodded, and slowly got up from bed, while gathering her clothes.

"I'll... I'll be in the guest room."

"It's your room anyway."

"No. No, it isn't."
