Chapter 61 by Vain Vain

What to do about Kurt then? Or what about the girls back at the lake...?

Some views are changed, while they help Kurt back to the cabin

"Ow, fuck..." Kurt rolled his head a bit as he was drawn back to consciousness again, and almost fainted again when he could feel the throbbing pain in his arm. Something else was poking for his attention though, and when he looked up he found that someone had brought him the most desirable pillow he could possibly have asked for.

"Hey, don't move!" Victoria was quick to chide him when he slurred and tried to reach up with his one good hand, though it seemed like her concern for him was quite sincere - even while she almost dropped his head out of lap. Just to see her chest and beautiful face from below like this was quite the blessing though, and just for once he allowed himself to lie back and enjoy the feeling of a pair of warm, naked thighs without trying to get in between them.

"It looks pretty bad, man..." His attention was eventually drawn to the others around him, and left him just a little dismayed to find that the sweet blonde was the only one of the girls who'd come to his rescue. He'd at least expected for his cousin to come rushing to his side for once, even if only to scold him, or even to mock him for his folly. Instead there was only Vicky, and the other three guys in their group, who were trying to check on his injury.

"You think we can move him?" Brandon asked, while it appeared that Zack was the one they all turned their attention to. "We can't just leave him out here until we get some help, right?"

"No, I think it's okay." The young man replied after checking back on Kurt once again. "Nothing else is broken, right? I think it's just bruises, and perhaps a twisted ankle...?"

"Uh, yeah..." Kurt nodded slowly, and then grimaced badly as he realized that it wasn't just the arm hurting right now. His whole body was aching all over as well, and just like Zack said it seemed like his foot wouldn't like moving around too much either. "Just help me up..."

"We got you!" Zachary kept trying to soothe him with words while they all helped getting him back on his feet again, and then allowed for Brandon to carry most of his weight by leaning his good arm over the other guy's shoulder. "I don't think we should carry him between us though..."

"No, it's okay!" Brandon was quick to agree, and soon enough they were slowly making their way down the side of the hill. There was no point in working their way back up to the path again, and instead they just rounded the side of it until they found a place where they could easily get back on track again. "Hey, we're not lost now, are we...?"

"No, it's still the same trail." Kurt managed to confirm with just a quick look at their surroundings, but found it really difficult to speak while gritting his teeth at the pain from both his arm and ankle. "Unless you're looking for a place to bury me of course, rather than taking me back to the cabin...!"

This caused a bit of laughter from the others, and just for once he felt like this was probably some of the best friends he'd never had. And just like always, he'd managed to mess it all up because of his stupid ideas to get some girl in his bed...

"I swear I'll join a fucking monastery once all this done and over with..." He scoffed to himself, before the pain took over and almost caused him to pass out once again. Somehow he managed to stay on his feet all the way down to the cabin though, and it even seemed like it was faster this way than on their way up to the falls.

"That's my cousin for you..." He found himself explaining to the others. "Always taking the long way around, just to make sure that everyone's enjoying the view..."

"Yeah, I know what you mean!" Brandon agreed with him, and not just out of courtesy because of his injuries, while it seemed like even Zack and Gavin too was able to understand and appreciate the pun he'd managed to make of his cousin's habits...

Even Victoria found herself quite enjoying a pun like that, as she too was well aware of the fact that Heather's idea of a 'good view' would often match the opinion of any guy who was lucky enough to make her company.

More than anything it reminded her of her own experience with the alluring brunette however, and more than once during their walk she found herself glancing back up the path in hopes to see the other three girls come running after them. Not because she felt like they needed the extra hands with Kurt, or even just to talk to, but most of all to aid her with some of the itching that slowly kept spreading around the area between her slender legs.

"I must be getting sick or something..." She pondered while she tried her best to calm her own nerves. It would help her out a lot actually, if she could only blame all this constant tension inside of her on something different, just like her friend Ashley had been trying to blame it on too much of all the fresh air outside of town.

"I still can't believe it though...!" Her mind kept jumping from one subject to the other, and suddenly she found herself staring into the back of the handsome young man who was walking in front of her. While it was difficult enough to grasp what she'd been doing herself during the most part of this sinful day, it was almost even more unfathomable to think about what her best friend Ashley had confessed to her before they left the falls behind them.

"Zack and Ashley...?" The blonde shook her head in a failed attempt to get the image of it out of her head, but only to find it joined by the look Heather's face as she too emerged together with the young man from behind the falls. And then there was something that Chloe had told her as well, which led her to the sudden realization that the lovely young redhead had managed to keep something hidden from her since after this morning...

"But, why him...?" Vicky's eyes continued to bore their way into the young man's naked back, until he suddenly seemed to notice and turned back to give her a friendly smile over his shoulder. As if she was in need of some kind of soothing like that...

That single exchange of glances between them somehow managed to explain quite a lot however, and just for once she remembered how he'd been looking at her with eyes like that many times before.

"Then why didn't he just say something?!" She suddenly felt like she'd been tricked, for all this time that they'd known each other. The only reason she knew that Zack had always been in love with her was because his best friend Chloe had practically told her so this very same morning, and right now he was suddenly getting along with just about everyone else, except for herself. "That's just... not right...!"

Before she had the time to think any further about she found herself drawn back to reality however, as their small group suddenly stopped right in front of the cabin. Luckily it seemed like Heather hadn't brought the only key with her up to the falls, or they'd had to wait for her outside, but actually been clever enough to hide under a loose rock under the house...

But where are the other girls then? And what to do while they wait...?
