“What!?! Why on Earth would we do that? I am sure she will listen to us once she is back to normal.” Erika said clearly upset with Claire for the suggestion she made.

“Because we don’t fully know how this transformation works. It could be that in this state she is suggestible to the things done by her alternate self, like she’s in a trance. So if she makes a promise while she’s like this her other self will follow through with it. Or they are the same person with adjusted introverted tendencies, and this is really her speaking what she wants. Last but not least and I am truly sorry to say it, even if you are right and they are completely separate entities, there is no guarantee she will help us after you grabbed her and caused her personality to be overwritten. We need to find Lily, her brain is fried and she is all alone. We can solve this issue at another time, but we need to help Lily before she does anything stupid.” Claire said very sternly and sincerely.

Erika just stood there in silence, shocked at how the smaller girl stood up to her like that. She was kinda proud. Too bad it’s overshadowed by her unyielding guilt. Erika nodded to Claire before speaking to Meghan.
