Some time later

"So, the middle of a jungle it is," you say, as both of you go forward between the trees, your feet avoidant of the wines, roots and various plants beneath you. You didn't call her Mistress. True. But outside you should still be the boss.

"Sure seems like it," Elena sighs. After the crash, most of the ship's systems remained functional. However you still need a new reactor to get up from the ground. There are no cities in the vicinity. No water. No nothing. Except from a tiny blip on the sensors, its origin only a short walk from your vessel. Of course you decided to check it out!

After a few minutes, you finally get there: approaching what seems like a man entangled in the wines. Even so: you are taken aback by the sight of this particular person.

"Hello, ladies," he says with a wide smile on his face.

"Neil?" you ask in unison.

"Now it might seem that you have the upper hand, but actually I have the ship on standby above you. You just can't see it from the clouds," he says.

"Wouldn't we hear it?" you both frown.

"Yeah, it has some upgrades," he nods. "Perfect upgrades. In fact, they are the best upgrades ever!"

"How did you get a crew?" Elena asks. "Didn't everyone die in the battle?"

"Oh, I have crew. Lots of crew. The greatest crew of all time!" he says.

"Right," you sigh. You take your knife in your hand, and start cutting him free from the wines.

"What are you doing?" Elena asks.

"He is here because he put a tracker on our ship, and he decided to come after us. I'm guessing that he lost his own ship. Or that his ship is here, but he is still alone, and he fucked up sneaking up on us. Which means that there is either a town nearby, or his ship, and he will lead us right on target," you answer.

"He could also try to overpower us," Elena says.

"Nobody said he has be a willing companion," you say. And Elena smiles.

However once you had finished up with the wines, Neil jumps out, and tries to knock Elena off her feet.
