What's next?
Some decency
As Claire scurried through the aisles, her face burning with embarrassment, she could feel the weight of the stares lingering on her. She quickly ducked into the back room, slamming the door behind her and leaning against it to catch her breath. The room was dimly lit, with stacks of books and a small desk in the corner. She let out a deep sigh and looked down at herself, realizing she was still exposed. "Why is this happening to me?" she muttered, frustration mixing with her humiliation. She frantically searched for her pants, but they were nowhere to be found.
She quickly scanned the room, her eyes darting from one corner to the next, until they landed on a long, faded apron hanging on a hook by the desk. Without hesitation, she grabbed it and wrapped it around her waist, tying the strings tightly in the back. The apron was a bit worn and smelled faintly of old books, but it covered her exposed skin, offering a semblance of decency. She smoothed it out with trembling hands, her cheeks still burning with embarrassment.
Now somewhat covered, Claire took a deep breath and glanced around the room once more, ensuring no one was watching.
