Some Mondstadt hot spots.

Ethan and Freya walked up the steps and found themselves in front of Good Hunter.

"Let's get some food, we can have a picnic." Ethan told Freya.

"That sounds lovely." Freya smiled a bit. "I would like to try some of the food here."

"Welcome, I'm Sarah, you must be new here, how may I help you?" The woman running the counter asked them.

"Sure, do you have a menu we can pick from?" Ethan asked her.

"Of course." Sarah gave them a menu, Ethan picked the Sticky Honey Roast, the Northern Smoked Chicken and the Mondstadt Hash browns.

Freya went with Veggie Radish soup and the Mondstadt grilled fish.

After Sarah gave the price, Ethan paid with a tip since they kinda ordered a lot.

"It'll take some time to make." Sarah bowed her head.

"It's fine, we'll be back in... 30 minutes?" Ethan asked.

"They'll be done by the time you return." The woman smiled.

"Come on, let's go look around some more." Ethan nudged Freya who nodded and they left.

"I'm surprised you aren't vegetarian." Ethan commented.

"I couldn't hurt any living thing, the loophole was fish, I do enjoy meat, especially Aoi's sweet and sour chicken." Freya smiled at the thought.

"Oh yeah." Ethan grinned as they walked up the steps, Freya looks at one of the large buildings.

"Knights of Favonious headquarters, they keep the peace here." Ethan commented as they walked by.

"... there are women following us." Freya whispered.

Ethan blinked. Women?

They turned a corner and Ethan made a clone and it vanished.

The clone waited back, hiding using a cloaking technique.

A few moments later, Rosaria came out of her hiding spot and continued to tail the original and Freya.

That woman was paranoid...

Mona could also be seen following but she was using her hydro vision to hide.

The clone dispersed and Ethan blinked. He chuckled. "Don't worry, they won't do anything as long as we stay neutral."

Freya rolled her eyes. "If you say so."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ethan looked confused.

"I was told of your Arasaka escapades." Freya smirked.

"They had it coming." Ethan shrugged as they made it to the top and saw the statue of Barbatos.

"So that's supposed to be Barbatos." Freya cupped her chin.

"Yup, he didn't even want the statue, they made it themselves." Ethan told her. "Behind the statue is the Favonious Cathedral."

"Hmm do you think we can look inside?" Freya asked.

"Sure." Ethan shrugged as they walked passed the statue and up the steps, they entered the Cathedral and Freya admired the architecture as they stepped inside.

"Hello! May Barbatos' gentle wind guide you." Ethan turne and saw the Deaconess, Barbara, wow she looked cute.

"Hello, don't mind us, we're just looking around." Ethan smiled politely.

"Visitors are always welcome." Barbara smiled and bowed. "I can tell you are newcomers, how are you finding Mondstadt?"

"It's a very peaceful place, a nice quiet atmosphere." Freya smiled kindly.

"That's good to hear." Barbara smiled.

Freya stepped forward. "You have such a lovely voice, do you sing?" Freya asked.

Barbara blushed a bit embarrassed. "I do, I sing a lot actually."

"I would love to hear it sometime." Freya smiled.

The doors opened and Rosaria came in.

"Oh excuse me, I must go." Barbara ran to Rosaria and started speaking to her.

"Let's go while she's distracted." Ethan whispered to Freya.

"She's not a bad person." Freya frowned.

"I mean the woman she's talking to, she's one of the women tailing us." Ethan clarified.

Freya blinked and nodded in understanding as they walked out the cathedral.

"Let's get some wine, I know a good place." Ethan told Freya as they descended the steps.

"Not a bar I hope." Freya raised an eyebrow.

"It is but it's a respectable one." Ethan assured her and they made their way to their destination.

They found themselves in front of the bar known as Angel Share.

They went inside and Freya paused, she looked around and spotted a boy wearing green, she felt divine power from him.

"Just another please!" The bard whined to the red headed man behind the bar.

"Not until you pay your tab you drunk." The man deadpanned.

"... is that him." Freya whispered to Ethan, who snickered and nodded

Now she felt a bit disappointed... although she can understand the concept, who would believe that was a god without any proof?

They walked to the bar and Ethan spoke up. "Excuse me, three bottles of your finest wine please mister?"

"Diluc, you have money to pay." The man raised an eyebrow.

"Of course." Ethan pulled out a sack of mora and placed it on the counter.

Diluc looked at Ethan and Freya before he reached down and grabbed three bottles and placed them on the counter. "New around here?" He asked.

"Just visiting, tourists." Ethan explained as he took one of the bottles and handed it to the bard. "Here you go." Ethan winked to the bard.

"Oh!" The bard brightens and took the bottle. "Thank you for your kindness! How about a song from the greatest bard in Mondstadt to repay the kindness?" The bard pulled a few strings on his instrument.

"No need, looked like you needed it." Ethan smiled. Freya gave Ethan a look.

"Don't encourage him." Diluc sighed.

"Let's go, I think our order is ready." Ethan took the other two bottles and the two left

Venti watched the duo leave and he got up. "Well isn't this interesting." Venti felt power coming off of those two, one divine and another .. something else.
