Some Goodies

_Voidcaller17 here, I changed Ayashi's Level and Stats in this chapter. I do so to make her better fit her status as the Queen of Mythos. I didn't plan for Eric to get this strong because I don't plan ahead when writing. If I don't then he could kill her in one or two hits with the Sword of Destruction. What kind of final Boss would she be if she got beat that easily?- - - - - -

New Skill: Dark Sense Passive, Lvl 1 (MAX)

Dark Sense greatly enhances your senses. It gives you better sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. It also provides what's commonly called a 6th sense. It allows you to instinctually detect nearby danger. The Skill can never be turned off or disabled.

New Spell: Dark Energy, Lvl 1

Dark Energy allows you to spend your mana and create and manipulate Darkness. You can use this to create spears or hands of Darkness. The amount of Darkness created determines the MP Cost. The Darkness is incredibly tough, almost impossible to break. It will always come from your shadow. The size of your shadow will limit the amount of Darkness you can create.

New Skill: Annihilating Weapon, Lvl 1

Annihilating Weapon allows you to cover a weapon in Annihilation Energy. This will not add any damage to the targeted weapon. It will, however, allow the weapon to cut through spells and magic. The spells and magic it cuts will be destroyed. The Energy will not affect the wielder of the targeted weapon. The Energy will only dissipate whenever the weapon is sheathed or dropped. MP Cost: 150

New Skill: Mark of Annihilation, Lvl 1

Mark of Annihilation allows you to mark the target. The target will have their mana consumed by the mark. This will continue for five minutes. The Mark will self-destruct when the time is up or the target runs out of mana, damaging the target. The damage will be determined by the amount of mana it absorbs. You must make physical contact with the target to place the Mark. MP Cost: 500.

I open my inventory and Observe my new Cloak of Darkness.

Cloak of Darkness Lvl 75, Mythical

This Cloak is made from a dark pitch-black thread. The thread is surprisingly tough and resistant. It has a small hood that will help you blend into the shadows. It provides 50 defense to your back. While worn it provides +15 STR, +15 AGI, +15 INT, +10 WIS, and +100 Max MP.

That's good. But my Chaos Mantle is better than it. I could give it to one of the girls. I think Luna would get more from it. She has less MP than Innu. I think before sighing and standing up. Speaking of my Chaos Mantle I should practice its ability. The one that lets me control its thread. I walk over to the fruit tree and pick an apple. I swap to my armor before tossing the apple in the air. I use my mana to try to manipulate my Mantle. I see the threads pass by me and lunge for the apple. They miss it, by a few inches, and the apple falls. I look and see the threads have turned into spears. They're jumping off my shoulders and I see the tread near my feet is gone. The Mantle stops at my knees instead of my ankles now. I pull the threads back and see them flow down the Mantle. The thread grows back and I smile. I pick up the apple again and toss it. I try a few times to grab it from the air. I manage to catch it, by piercing it with a spear. I pull the apple back to me and take a bite. I pull it off and store it away. I fly back down to my cabin and see the girls are gone. As I land I see the door fly open. Luna runs out and jumps on me.

"Alpha!" She says happily and I pet her.

"Hey Luna, how'd you know I was here?" I ask and she smiles.

"I just did. But come inside! It's time for lunch!" She replies while pulling on my arm. I get dragged inside and sit down at the table. I see Asami has made spaghetti with garlic bread. Gaia, Verona, Asami, Luna, Innu and Ramia eat with me. Luna spends most of the time we eat, trying to convince Verona to spar with her. Verona finally agrees after Gaia tells her that Luna won't let up until she does. As we finish eating Luna runs outside to get ready. The others soon follow after her, except for me and Asami. I stay back to help her put the dishes up.

"Master, can I ask you something?" Asami asks as soon as we return to my apartment. She's talking with a serious tone.

"Yeah, what is it?" I ask her while walking to the kitchen. I'm carrying a stack of dirty plates.

"Who's Ayashi?" She asks causing me to stumble and slam the plates on the counter. Fortunately, none broke but they crashed together loudly. Before I can respond she continues talking. "You mentioned her when you got drunk the other day. You said you'd need your new Sword for her." She says and I nod slowly, not remembering this at all.

"That's... Complicated." I reply, pausing to sigh. She steps forward and hugs me.

"Master, I'm just worried, But I do trust you. If you don't want to tell me yet, that's fine." She says and I smile.

"Asami, look at my memories," I say before kissing her. The memories of meeting Ayashi flow through my mind. The memories of the destroyed village and cave leading to Prisma follow. I show her my meeting with Prisma and all we've talked about. It feels like hours past before I pull away. As the memory of Observing Ayahsi flows through, I'm reminded of how much of a monster she is.

"I...Wh..." Asami starts but can't find words to say.

"I told you it was complicated." I say with a smile and she just nods. She takes a few minutes to sort her thoughts.

"Master, I think you should ask Verona for her opinion. She's been around for a very long time, so I'm sure she'll have some ideas on how to deal with her." Asami says and I nod.

"Yeah, I'd like to. But I want to wait until after the Demon God is dealt with." I reply and she nods.

"Then let me know when you want to. I'll show her these memories." Asami says and I thank her. We wash the dishes before returning to my Domain.
