... So you do tell her

"Now that I have the general knowledge of this world I guess I need...", you start to say, "...What about your clothes ? You don't plan on going out of this alleyway like that, right ?"

After listening to your question, Rei thinks for a moment, before shrugging and replying casually :

"I know a thing or two about illusion magic, so I can make something work, although I'll still need to get new clothes at some point."

"You know a thing or two about what ?", you ask right before adding with a deep sigh, "You know what, nevermind. To quickly sum things up, I'm in Eovotis, a world that I don't know really anything useful about and the first person I meet is a vixen with illusion magic and a heat cycle that seems to be a problem..."

"I guess you're right about all of that, you'll get used to it quickly, trust me. Even quicker in fact if you start to search for ways to gain money."

As she says that, she stands up and, with one hand on her bra, she says "Basic Illusion" before you can see her outfit just magically repair itself. Well, at least it looked like it magically repaired itself, but judging from the name of the spell Rei casted, it is just an illusion, an illusion which almost made you lose the question you were thinking of right after hearing what she said. So you finally ask the question, to not forget it :

"You spoke about ways to gain money.... How can we do that ?"

She then looks at you with a slightly annoyed look, and you guess that this annoyance comes from the sheer stupidity of your question since there must be lots of ways to make money in this world, before a slightly amused smile appears on her face.

"Well, there's lots of way, as you can surely imagine, but I have one that is as dangerous as it is rewarding, and it is called questing, or adventuring, the name is up to you.", she answers, "I was actually planning on taking a quest before my heat went crazy, I think it is still there, since it's a quest not worth that much money. Do you want to come with me ?"

Questing, or adventuring, however you want to call it... It sounds familiar to you, and you suspect that it's once again linked to your memory loss, but it's a rewarding way to make money ? In that case you're in.

"I'd like to come with you on this quest for sure.", you say before thinking about two obvious things, "But if you called that adventuring, is it fine for a regular guy like me to just go on an adventure ?"

"Well... No", Rei starts by saying, "But you can become a quester, or an adventurer, once again it's up to you to name that. You just need to go to what's called an Adventurer's Waypoint to register as a quester. And for your weapon... There's the knife that goblin left behind, can't you just use that ?"

"Oh right, that knife...", you then look around for the knife the goblin left behind as he fled, before spotting it and taking it, putting it... Really, there's no pockets on your clothes ? What a dumb thing... In that case you just put it between your belt and your pants, hoping that you won't cut yourself and that it won't fall at some point, before saying to Rei, "And thanks for the help, I don't think I would have figured that out on my own. But aren't you a bit too familiar with a stranger ?"

The question makes her laugh a bit, before she answers :

"To be fair, you did save me from that goblin and you had all the time to stare at my bare chest, so I think I don't have much more to hide from you, and I owe you one. Now, come with me, I'll help you register yourself as a quester."
