Chapter 2 by Roar of The Winning Punch Roar of The Winning Punch

What do the Fluidians choose to exploit? (Snot, Cum, Spit)

Snot

Had Amy known that the world, the old world, only had a few precious hours of life left, she surely would have spent them differently. But you know what they say about hindsight. The truth was, that the world had not yet ended. The comet had not yet passed above the earth, it's blue light had not yet illuminated the sky. Only Astronomers knew that the frozen chunk of ice would pass by the Earth, and their telescopes were pointed in the direction of the show. The rest of the earth was ignorant to the witchcraft of the stargazers and kept their line of sight on more terrestrial matters. Had they known the fate that awaited their home, they would have behaved differently, but even the people who looked towards the sky had no way of knowing what was truly coming for them.

"Parker's getting some girls together to do some witchy shit, you want in?" Gale was zipping up a black leather jacket, and casting a look over to her cabinmate and best friend Amy. The Asian was buried under her blankets like a storybook princess, only her head, and a single free arm could be seen above the surface.

"No thanks." Amy never took her eyes off the book. "I've got a headache."

"Do you really have a headache, or do you just not want to be around Parker?"

"I really have a headache."

"You shouldn't let Parker stop you from having fun. I hate her too, but she came, and there's nothing we can do about it."

"I really have a headache," Amy repeated.

"You're sure?" Gale raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sure." She set down her book and looked to Gale. "I'd much rather be running naked around the woods or whatever you're doing tonight."

"Seance, Ouija board, stiff as a board. The usual."

"See? That sounds fun." Amy gave a winning smile.

Gale sighed, and walked over to her cabinmate and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Now I feel bad for leaving you alone."

"It's fine, I'm going to go to sleep here in a bit. Wouldn't want you around for that."

"Not that you'll admit." Gale winked, and headed for the door. "Alright bitch, I'm out. I'll take pictures if we do end up naked out there."

Amy laughed. "Don't feel like you have to."

"No, no." Gale opened the door. "You've earned it." Then she shut the door, leaving the cramped little cabin feeling a bit roomier with just Amy inside.

She sighed and slide further into her blankets. "I don't have a headache." She said aloud.

Their sorority had an election during the spring, for who would lead The House for next year. It'd been pretty brutal. Boyfriends were seduced, blackmailed, and lost. It got pretty Game of Thrones. Ultimately it lead to Parker being elected as The Head Bitch In Charge, and Amy more or less being immolated by the sorority. Just in time for their summer vacation. At least they hadn't rented out an abandoned summer camp, completely isolated from civilization, with only each other to talk to.

Gale was just about the only friend left standing.

Good thing she'd brought a lot of books.

Of course, even the best of books can only keep a reader's attention for so long, should that reader not be fully invested. Amy had other things on her mind, namely the excruciatingly long summer ahead of her, so it was inevitable that after a few hours she would set down the novel and go outside.

There was a warm mugginess to the air outside. The nearby lake made everything around the camp humid. Not only that, but the camp was loud. It was miles away from the closest town, and road, but the bugs. The cicadas howled loudly at all hours from sunrise to sunset, a chirping sound, that eventually you learned to ignore, but when you deigned to notice, you noticed.

Amy took in a sighed and breathed in the air. It was thick but fresh and clean. This place wouldn't be so bad if it didn't have all the people.

There also seemed to be a big of magic about the old camp. Off to the horizon, over the lake and past the mountain there was a star shining. It was blue in hue and brighter than anything Amy had ever seen. She stared at it curiously, at first thinking it a plane, but there wasn't any blinking to it. Then she stared at it so long, she was able to see that it has moved, slowly across the sky, then very quickly. "A comet!" She cried excitedly, and took out her phone, snapping a menu of exciting pictures that only grew more pulse-pounding by the moment. Before she even knew what was happening the comet rocketed above the lake, so close it felt like you could reach out and touch it. Its blue light reflected off of the still water, and after it was gone, there was a window shaking 'wooooooosh' that followed. Then just as it had appeared it was gone, and the horizon glowed blue with its passing.

Amy's mouth hung agape, the craziest thing to ever happen to her... just happened.

She smiled, looked at her phone, and then the blue horizon over the trees. "They really were doing some witchy shit out there!" She giggled to herself.

What's next?

More fun
