Snoop

Something inside of Ethan tells him to snoop around in Charlie’s room.

He can’t figure out why he wants to, but the urge is overwhelming.

Vacuum still going, Ethan tip-toes over to the forbidden door, carefully easing it open. Sticking his head inside, he opts to just take a quick look around, as getting caught would almost surely cause trouble.

Natural light from a window illuminates the room, making it easy to see what’s going on. It’s small, which isn't surprising to him, but also messy, which is frankly what he expected. Clothes mostly are the main source of clutter, Charlie clearly in need of doing laundry. While sizing up the clothing piles, Ethan noises something: a very lacy pink thong. While that in and of itself isn't strange, something about it being on Charlie’s floor, the life-long tomboy and famous hater of girly things, gives him pause. It’s only then he notices more pinks, and a few other feminine colors, among the piles of.

Looking closer, Ethan sees a goldmine of girly underwear, both bras and panties, both in terms of color and composition. While lace is the main feature, frills and even some shear pieces can be spotted. In fact, despite really looking, Ethan can’t seem to find a single pair that he would classify as ‘plain’. Jaw slacking slightly, if what he’s looking at is correct, Charlie only wears super cute underwear.

The vacuum stops, and Ethan snaps too. Retreating and easing the door closed, he makes a careful escape back to the couch, not sure what to do with his revelation.
