Small talk and new friends

"Well, not today, I feel like my jaw is going to fall off." I tell Ako.

"Go away, he's mine today !" I, then, hear Katiris in a out of breath voice.

"Sure, sure ! We have time !" Ako says waving her hand casually.

I'm quite throw off balance from the whole situation, having two girls wanting me and not minding the sexual promiscuity between everyone involved. It's like living in an alternate dimension where sex isn't taboo. Mankind should learn from other species to be more open about this. But that probably won't happen soon. We've lived too long with those rules to change in a matter of years. Even I wasn't sure if I would be okay, if the situation was reversed.

Ako smiles and winks at me as she leaves. Showing that she's not hurt and will just come back at a later time. I wash my face in the sink of the restroom and when I come back, Karitis is sitting on the bed still looking disoriented.

I sit on the bed in front of her.

I take the book with a "thanks" and read the title, basics of runes and mana storage. It will be indeed useful.

Later that day, when I have finished to unpack my stuffs, I look at Katiris, reading.

"I'll go look for bar or a nice place to hangout. Do you want to come ?"

Without leaving her eyes from the book she says.

"Not interested."

"OK"

I leave the room and hear from her.

"Be careful not to get too intoxicated, it would be bad for your first day."

That girl is something, sometimes she show no interest in others, and sometimes she looks after you... I decide to go next door, to find Ako. The door is open and she's with another girl, probably her roommate. The girl in question is way smaller, her head being at Ako's belly height, she looks human of Asian origin at first glance. She has shoulder long black hairs with dark make up and clothes, which are a gothic looking dress and thigh high socks with boots.

"Hey ! I'm going to look for a place to have some fun, like a bar or something. Do you want to come ?"

Ako and the girl turns to me.

"Oh, hey, John ! This is my roommate, Sae !"

The goth girl says a soft "Hi" that I barely hear and I say "Hi" back.

"Sure, I'll come ! A drink would be nice to celebrate our first day ! You're coming Sae ?"

Sae seems embarrassed and answers in her soft voice.

"I don't know, I'm not really..."

But Ako puts her hand on her back and pushes her out.

"Don't worry, you won't be a bother, it'll be fun ! You'll see !"

I accompany them in the corridor, doubtful of the fact that Sae even wanted to go out.
