Slowly

John woke up with a big stretch and yawn. He hadn't felt that refreshed in months, between his back issues and romance woes. He was still a little groggy, so last nights adventures still hadn't fully registered. As he sat out of bed painless, he celebrated. The days when the pain was released were always a blessing that he wouldn't take for granted. John itched his beard absent-mindedly as he gathered a fresh day of clothes, then walked from his bedroom to his bathroom, depositing the clothes on the sink counter before relieving himself. He turned on the tap to the shower, then left the room while the water heated up.

He emptied the bowl filled with ashes from the previous night and replaced the water in his bong. Overpacking the bowl, he ignited his lighter and promptly ripped the whole thing. Holding it in for a few moments, he casually opened his patio door and blew it outside. John chirped out a gentle cough, then returned to the bathroom.

As he sat on the toilet, he opened Twitter and scrolled through the tweets he'd missed while he was asleep. He followed mostly 18+ artists and they were most active right as he was going to bed. A few years prior--when he had been a the height of a depressive episode due to an underpaying job and some election year political fervor--he had read a study that looking at a titty at least once a week had positive health benefits for a man. In order to drown out all of the news and loud opinions he found himself immersed in, he buried himself in titty artists. Where most people were "doomscrolling" he would now be "boobscrolling." He had initially smirked at the name, but it might as well be what he was doing.

Outside of a few very specific artists, it wasn't like he was scrolling for any type of sexual gratification. If anything he had a lot of admiration for these artists and genuinely enjoyed their art. His own mastery of human anatomy was lacking, and character designs were always bland. Sometimes there was comedy from a weirdly animated sex scene (way too fast!) but for the most part John preferred this to reading constant stream of doom and gloom of a school shooting or political opponents slinging shit at eachother. He idly wondered if he had a porn addiction, or if this was just how his brain coped with being a hypervirgin. It was usually on that point he ceded, as very few people knew the lurking pent up madness that he felt at times.

Just as John felt like he was dipping back into his depression, he got a Snapchat notification. He resisted the urge to immediately open it and check the contents. Shower still running in the background, he washed his hands in the sink then brushed his teeth. From what he heard of the dating game he shouldn't immediately reply, and Snapchat snitched on just about *everything* you did.

He let the shower run, left the room and quickly ripped another bowl. He was trying to buy time now that he'd received a message from Jane. As he returned to the bathroom, he decided to open the snapchat message.

'Hey, I'm really sorry for how I acted. Idk why but I was on some real bitch shit. Can you forgive me? I promise I'll make it up to you' followed by a peach, eggplant, and tongue emoji.

John's dick immediately sprang to attention with one of the strongest boners he'd ever had in his life. Not only had the app worked, but he was within reach of being free!!! Hand shaking, he pulled a bottle of lube from where he'd stashed it away under the sink. He paused as he was about to apply it to his dick 'is this all it takes to get me riled up?' he thought, pondering if he should hold off for a little as a self-control type of thing. He scrolled twitter for a few more minutes before he got another notification.

Before he went to reply, he decided to open up King Mode. Sure enough, he found that Jane had ticked off three of the four habits, as well as two of the four tasks he'd assigned. He decided to leave things as-is for now on this page, and switched over to her character stats.

She already had plenty of stats allocated, but it looked like John's options were divided into two categories. "Basic Stats" and "Physical Traits." he had 30 points for each category to add.

Under Basic stats, he noted the following:

Mind: 55

Endurance: 48

Strength: 28

Dexterity: 35

Intelligence: 145

Faith: 180

He didn't really have much of a context for what these points meant in terms of her person. He added 3 points to Vigor, 5 points to mind, 10 points to Intelligence, then evenly distributed the remaining 12 between Strength and Dexterity. If he was going to be demanding more of her time, he would make sure she could still keep up and excel with her course work. One of the few things she had seemed proud of was her Straight A's, and he didn't want to take that away from her. He was a sex-starved animal, but he wasn't a monster.

He switched under 'Physical Traits.' This category seemed to have a lot more of what he was looking for.

Without much hesitation, John put 2 points into Height (bringing Jane to 5'6"), 10 points into bust > "42G", 5 points into Butt, 3 points into Sensitivity, 2 into Fitness and the remaining 8 into Libido.

John hit apply, then went back to Snapchat to reply. He noticed her picture had subtly changed, her breast protruding a little more on the towel then he swore he saw a few minutes prior.

'I can't exactly turn down an offer like that now can I?' he replied, adding a sweating guy emoji at the end before sending. 'Wyd this weekend?'

The reply came faster than anything he had received from her the entire time they'd been talking. Just one letter: 'U'

John almost fell over. Before he could reply, Jane sent another response.

'Hey real quick -- don't take this the wrong way. Are you...a virgin? I was scanning your chakras and my higher voice revealed to me the cause of your constant reversion after my previous attempts at healing. It's totally ok if you are.'

Well there's another task off her checklist John thought to himself.

'Yea, I hope there's nothing wrong with that :X '

'Nothing at all, it's pretty cute -- why didn't you say something earlier?'

'Idk it's just never been that easy for me. It sounds dumb af but it depresses me every day when I think about it, but guys always act like such assholes regarding sex and women. I didn't want you to think I was just like every other asshole. Especially after your boss.' still blissfully unaware that she hadn't been telling the truth.

'Don't worry about that anymore, are you doing anything Sunday?' she asked.

He bit back the temptation to reply with 'U' and instead replied 'Nothin really, wanna get some lunch and hang out at my apartment, see where things go?'

They both agreed on 11a. John started singing a medley from all the best victory rock ballads while fist-pumping the air. John climbed out of the shower, now a bit pruney from the excess of time spent in there between jerking off, responding, and cleaning himself with soap. He toweled off, then decided to send a pic of his own. He'd been a little proud of the weight he'd lost the past two years, and decided to send a thirst-trap pic of the suggestion of a belly he still had, the gaze of the camera lingering down until just a hint of his shaft was in the picture. Satisfied, he sent it to Jane.

She responded again almost immediately, with multiple tongue, sweat, and eggplant emojis.

John smiled to himself. This was way more fun than he was having 48 hours ago.
