While Yulia recovers upstairs the rest of the group, sans Cherchiel who stays by Yulia's side, go downstairs to watch movies and eat in the living room.

Alide has a number of movies from the Voice's world and the group enjoy watching some comedies and a few action movies as they eat Alide's very good cooking.

"I promise if I wasn't having to get used to this new form, it would be even better," she assures them.

Meanwhile Cherchiel has brought Yulia's **** form to the bathroom and proceeds to clean her up before laying her back in bed and lying beside her, cuddling her as she sleeps.

After a few hours the whole group is asleep except Alide, Sally and Dahlia.

Even if I return to Iralia there's no way I'm being put in charge of anything again. Even if my creators trusted me, the people of the city would never agree to it. The best I can hope for I suppose is continuing to serve my creators as... a robot companion or maid?" she suggests.

"No... I'm happy as long as I can be with my creator..." Sally says putting a hand to her chest and sighing as she thinks about Del.

"Cute... Frankly I'll be fine. I mean when Yulia leaves the Tower I'll be here and free again. I'll be able to slot right back into both my previous roles as Archdemon of Gifts and a Functionary of the Tower. The only difference is I'll still be stuck with this fucking pain in the ass ring," Dahlia explains.

"Well until Yulia inevitably dies somehow," Alide states.

"What?" Dahlia asks confused and suddenly nervous.

"Yeah you're bound to her. Even if she leaves, you won't have anyone to tell you what to do, but you'll still be bound to her even across universes. When she dies, so do you," Alide explains and Dahlia blinks.

"Well she's immortal right, cause she's undead and stuff?" Dahlia suggests.

"I mean possibly, but she could still potentially die through some act of **** and I mean we're both immortal, but someone could always come along and kill us anyway," Alide explains and then gives a rueful smile, "hell in my case Yulia did," she adds.

"Well... That puts a damper on things..." Dahlia grumbles.

"You could try to convince her to remove the ring before she leaves..." Alide suggests.

"Fat chance of that happening..." Dahlia grumbles.

"Well that's what you get for being a massive bitch to her I guess..." Alide shrugs.

"This is of course all assuming you do get to stay in the Tower and she doesn't **** you to leave with her," Sally points out.

"Yeah, but I don't think Yulia is that petty. I mean she wouldn't want to actually keep me with her for... the rest of her life, right? I'm super annoying!" Dahlia says hopefully.

"I mean I know I wouldn't want to be stuck with you forever," Alide assures her and Dahlia nods.

"Exactly!" she agrees.

"So... What about you, Alide?" Sally asks.

"Well I lost my home, my purpose and my powers, but I'm alive and free. I've thought about it more and I really do think I might just go and settle in the deep. I'm sure they wouldn't mind having a sexy golem waitress right?" Alide asks.

"Probably not," Dahlia agrees.

"Maybe I'll even get to serve drinks or food to the next Chosen to end up in the Deep, that would be nice," Alide continues.

"Get yourself a nice dwarf husband," Dahlia suggests jokingly and Alide shrugs.

"Maybe..." she answers seriously and Dahlia looks stunned, but shrugs.

The three women continue to talk about unimportant topics for the next little while until later everyone else has awoken including Yulia, who still feels pretty terrible, but will recover.

"Time to move on then," Alide suggests sadly.

"Yeah sorry I couldn't really enjoy your hospitality, but I'm sure it was lovely," Yulia apologizes.

"Can I at least make you some breakfast before we go?" Alide begs and Yulia sighs.

"Alright fine..." she agrees.

Alide squees as she runs back into the kitchen.

Later after everyone has had breakfast and complimented a beaming Alide on her cooking the group exits through the second floor backdoor.

On the other side there is a large chamber. A door ahead is blocked by a large black stone with writing engraved on it. There are two other doors marked with symbols to the left and right. The door to the left is marked with a coiled whip, the door to the right is marked with a crown.

"Hey it's me!" Dahlia says pointing to the whip door and then glances at the other one and frowns, "and there's Dreg..." she mutters.

"Indeed... You can choose to head off of this path into the domains at any point from here on," Alide explains, "as for continuing ahead... This is the Final Barrier. It's not actually the final barrier of the Tower of course, there are many more obstacles ahead, but it's called the final barrier. You want to continue down this path you have to break the stone seal and open the doorway," Alide explains.

Yulia examines the stone, "It looks... Like a gravestone... The engraving reads... 'The Tower is a conduit. The voices command. They guide and shape our world and the chosen is simply the implement of their will. Only through consensus can their will truly shine and if they will it The path opens,' an interesting engraving. I assume it's some kind of a riddle. It's pretty obvious it's not one I can solve though. It seems to be a puzzle meant for the voices themselves," Yulia explains and Alide nods.
