Skirt

Ava decided to go with the skirt. She did not want to risk being arrested for indecent exposure walking into the building. She still could not believe she had gotten the job, but that was just one mystery: how could she have been so scatter-brained as to walk out of her apartment naked below the waist? Also, she wondered how many people saw her and if she walked by any security cameras.

She shrugged off the confusion and questions, finished dressing and went to work.

One her way to her knew office, she was confronted by an angry blonde.

"So you're the skank who showed up half naked and snaked that job away from my best friend by being a tramp?"

"Nice to meet you too," said Ava sarcastically.

"Spare me. That job was Ella's, and you only got it by being a slut."

"Hey, it was an honest mistake! I had forgotten to...."

"Save it!" said the blonde as she put a hand up. "Just watch your back, slut!" She turned on her heel and left.

Ava rolled her eyes. Then she thought What does she mean 'watch your back'?
