Six Weeks

"Fuck!" Sue Storm swore as she stared at the pregnancy test.

Six weeks. It had been six entire weeks, one missed period since she had started fucking Porkum unprotected, and the Invisible Woman was already knocked up. She sat on the toilet and stared at the test as if willing that second line to disappear, but it remained stubbornly present.

Which meant that Sue Storm had to ask herself what she was going to do.

She leaned back on the toilet, and let her abdomen go transparent. Layer by layer, skin, fat, muscle, and integument disappeared until she could see the small, fist-sized balloon of her uterus. Sue could also see part of her vaginal canal, and blushed as she saw some of Porkum's sperm still inside of her. They had fucked yesterday, some some of the pig-man's virile jizz was still inside of her. No wonder she had gotten pregnant so quickly.

The Invisible Woman chewed her lip. Porkum had said no birth control. No pills, no condoms, no IUD. Sue had done that. So what could she do?

Wait and see if it took? Miscarriages were common in the first trimester, and Sue had a history of difficult pregnancies. If she kept up her active lifestyle, there was always the possibility that a good zap by a ray blast or punch to the stomach would...resolve the matter. Or Sue could woman up and deal with the situation herself. The "invisible coathanger" technique that she didn't like to talk about.

It wouldn't be the first time she used it. Just never on herself. It was one of those things that never made it into any of the stories Sue talked about. Young heroines who had gotten themselves in trouble. Too far along for pharmaceutical abortion. Who didn't have the money or resources to visit an abortionist. Who couldn't afford to raise a child, or didn't want to throw away their future.

Not that Sue had done that many times. Over more than two decades of superheroing, she could count the number of times she'd done that on two hands. Yet it was something that women did for each other. A secret they would take to their graves if necessary.

Sue let her uterus go invisible. She could barely see the little bloody splotch on her uterine wall where the fertilized egg had attached itself. Busy growing, hour by hour, day by day. With how trim and fit she was, it wouldn't be more than a few more weeks before Sue started to show.

Unless she took care of it now.
