"Well...," Aktheus said sheepishly. He dropped his voice to a whisper. "You see, unlike in most religions, we of the Utonian faith are encouraged to uh...spread our holy light. Understand?"

Sagus got into a thoughtful pose. "Hmmmm.......no."

"It means we're not forbidden from being with women. You understand that, don't you? WITH...WOMEN."

The woman in gray spoke to Sagus. "He means they can have sex. Continue."

"Thank you. Anyway, even though I am not forbidden from enjoying a woman's tenderness by Utoness, my fortune in that respect has been less than kind. Therefore..."

"Let me guess," Sagus said, slightly angry. "You'll tell us about the arrow if one of my companions gives her body to you, right?" The woman in blue gasped, but Aktheus smiled.

"I appreciate the offer, but I meant sister Monica. You are all mages, correct?"

"For the most part. Sophie (Sagus gestured toward the woman in green) is an alchemist, Marianne (he gestured toward the one in blue) has use of magic of some sort. Exactly what kind, we don't know, but it's easy to sense, if you know how. And I am a master of the elemental disciplines. Rebecca, (the one in gray)however, has no magic ability or objects, other than her arrow."

"A simple yes would've sufficed. Tell me, can any of you create a potion to affect the mind? Particularly the part that creates love. Or lust, lust would be just as good. Your pretty alchemist can, can't she?"

All eyes turned to Sophie, and her eyes surveyed those staring at her. The attention made her a bit uncomfortable. That and the fact that she couldn't fulfill Aktheus' request. Rebecca suspected Sophie was unable to make such a thing.

"And if she can't?" she asked.

"Then I will either need another woman or I fear I simply couldn't possibly look at your arrow for a long while, maybe not even in my lifetime."
