What do the girls do first?
Sip some soda and deal with a phone call
"There's no like...side effects to drinking magical cola, is there?" Felicia asked, looking at the frosty bottle after taking a good sip. Lydia shrugged, slugging hers down.
"Ahhhh...tastes like cola to me!" Lydia said. "And these feel like real silk," she added, rubbing a pink sleeve between her forefinger and her thumb. The fabric of the pajamas rippled over her body, and she snuggled against them. "So...what do you think?"
"I think I wanna know how this magic works," Felicia said, glancing at the notebook again. Lydia was still too wrapped up in her new pajamas to notice.
"Well, just tell me something you want and I'll make it happen!" Lydia said.
"But how does it just happen?" Felicia asked. "I mean, how did you--" Felicia stopped when she heard her phone buzz. The moment she looked at the screen she realized that Kyle had just seen some crazy stuff on the screen. "Oh shit, it's Kyle!" Felicia said, panicking. "What the hell am I supposed to tell him?" Lydia couldn't help but laugh.
"Tell him the truth!" Lydia grinned. "In fact, tell him to come over… I bet we could have a lot of fun with someone that doesn't know anything about what's going on." Felicia just gave her a look of disbelief, are you the phone ring. "Oh, fine, then give me the phone." Lydia reached out her hand, and the phone slipped right from Felicia's fingertips and drifted over to Lydia.
"No, don't!" Any protest from Felicia was too late; Lydia had already answered.
"Hi, Kyle?" Felicia got up to try to take her phone back, but with a brush of her hand, Lydia sent her sailing into the air, levitating a couple feet away from her as Felicia crossed her arms in dismay. "No, she's here. She's just – hanging around." Felicia couldn't tell what Kyle was saying on the other end of the line, but Lydia was teasing her with her facial expressions. "You saw what?" Lydia covered the bottom of the phone as she snickered at her hovering friend. "Oh my God, that sounds so crazy! Well, listen — some strange things have been going on here…did you want to come over?" Lydia sneered. "Don't be a wimp, Kyle, I totally want to know more about that situation. You can come over and ask her yourself." Felicia was waving her hands, trying to get Lydia to stop setting this up. "No, don't bring anything. I got all the party supplies we need here." Lydia bit her lip, looking at Felicia mischievously as Kyle responded. "Sounds good, see you in five minutes."
Lydia hung up the phone and tossed it into the air. Halfway through its arc, it began hovering again — drifting right to Felicia's hands as she descended to the floor.
"Lydia, why would you do that to me?" Felicia asked, approaching Lydia. Lydia shrugged.
"What's the big deal?" Lydia asked. "If you want me to make him forget it all, all you have to do is ask." Felicia swallowed hard, not wanting to glance at the notebook while Lydia was staring right at her. She noticed that the notebook didn't seem to write anything when Lydia pulled her phone out of her hands or made her hover into the air, so she still wasn't exactly sure how all of this magic was working — though she still suspected that the notebook had something to do with it.
"You can do that?" Felicia asked. Lydia nodded with a smug enthusiasm.
"I'm pretty sure I can do anything," Lydia said. "Like, I wish we had a handle of So-co and an ice-cold two-liter of Dr. Pepper." The two objects appeared right between them, hovering in space, but Felicia was certain she could see the notebook writing in her peripheral vision. "Like I said, all you gotta do is ask me."
"Well, I'm pretty sure Kyle's a stoner. I wish we had like an ounce of really good weed," Felicia said, closing her eyes and holding her hands out. Lydia laughed.
"No, I said you have to ask me for it," her roommate grinned, apparently reveling in the idea. Felicia let out a sigh.
"Okay… Lydia, can you get us an ounce of really good weed and something cool to smoke out of?" Felicia asked, watching the handle of Southern Comfort and the two-liter of soda drift over to the coffee table and set themselves down.
"I'd be happy to. I wish we had exactly what Felicia just asked for." There was a glow as Lydia continued talking. "In fact, give her exactly what she had in mind." As the glow dissipated, Felicia now saw a simple glass bong in front of her, and a little baggie filled with what looked like…well, exactly what Felicia had pictured. In fact, it was so accurate that she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Is that really —"
"Take it," Lydia said. "It should be exactly what you were looking for." Felicia grabbed the bag out of the air as the bong drifted over to the table to join the **** and soda. She opened up the baggie and was practically knocked back by the scent.
"Holy shit, Lyd!" Felicia beamed a smile at her roommate, who seemed even more pleased with herself. "You can just make this shit out of thin air? We should sell it!" Lydia scoffed at the idea, laughing at the thought.
"It's not like I need money," Lydia said. Felicia shrugged.
"Are there rules to this or something?" Felicia asked. "Are there like, things you're not allowed to make, or things you can't wish about?" Lydia shook her head. She remembered the guy at the shop explaining that her wishes had to be of a sexual nature, but there seemed to be a wide loophole for that caveat. Felicia didn't have to know any of this. Lydia was getting off on using this magic in front of her roommate — Felicia's astonishment and surprise at Lydia's mysterious power had set something off in her — some excitement regarding the factor of control that Lydia now had over reality. It wasn't really the power, so much as it was Felicia's visceral reactions from seeing it used.
"Like I said, all you have to do is ask me." Lydia narrowed her eyes at Felicia again, smug as ever. Felicia smiled back at her this time, taking a whiff from the baggie in front of her and chuckling.
"Are you gonna tell me how all of this happened?" Felicia asked.
"Why don't you pack the piece, and I'll pour us a couple of drinks," Lydia said. "I wish it would take Kyle as long to get here as it does for me to have this chat with Felicia," Lydia snapped. Felicia could hear the note being scribbled the pad behind her, and she turned to the notebook, watching it write. Lydia's offer had satisfied her to the point where she wasn't worried about looking too curious. She didn't stare too long, and she wasn't so close that she could see exactly what was being written, but the magic and the notebook were linked – there was no doubt about that.
As Felicia broke up some of the best pot she'd ever seen or smelled, Lydia waved her hands and remotely pulled two glasses off of one of the shelves in the common room. They drifted down to the table, where the red-orange liquor and the two liter of soda opened up and poured themselves in concocted amounts into each glass. Felicia watched in awe as it happened, her roommate standing across from her. Lydia seemed to be able to direct the action with nothing more than a few directed fingertips. Felicia looked back at the notebook, which wasn't writing anything.
"So it's only when you wish for things," Felicia said. Lydia raised an eyebrow.
"Power like this is a little crazy, right?" Lydia asked. Felicia's eyes bulged, and she nodded her head.
"A little crazy is an understatement," Felicia said.
"You know, the monkey's paw, and like Wishmaster or whatever it was called," Lydia said, "well — I needed a way to make sure I didn't, like, fuck up all of existence or something." Felicia finished packing the headpiece and pointed at Lydia with some sense of realization.
"So…you record all your wishes in case something goes terribly wrong!" Felicia said. "That's pretty fucking brilliant, Lydia!" Lydia grinned wide, pleased with her own lie. There was something about having this over Felicia that really made Lydia giddy--and she realized that it was exactly that erotic feeling of power that allowed Lydia to wish about almost anything.
Now she was about to set up a paradigm that would multiply that feeling: she was going to make Felicia into a type of thrall that didn't even know she was a thrall, making her a type of insider assistant to what Lydia had planned for Kyle.
"This way, we can have all the fun we want — and if anything goes wrong, I can simply undo things one by one in the notepad." Felicia shot her a serious look.
"But, we should protect it, right? Hide it before Kyle gets here so that he doesn't suspect anything?" Lydia smiled and nodded. She summoned the notebook and the pen into her hands with a beckoning finger.
"Exactly," Lydia said. "I knew there was a reason I wanted to share this whole secret with you," she lied. Lydia gritted her teeth, ready to lure Felicia deeper into her plan. "So…can I trust you, Felicia?" Felicia nodded with the loyalty of a puppy.
"With your secret? Of course!" Felicia said. She picked up the bong and offered the first hit up to Lydia. "I — I'm pretty honored that you're sharing all this with me, Lyd."
"No, you take firsties," Lydia waved her off. "Did you need a lighter?" Felicia nodded, and Lydia raised an eyebrow. "Then what do you say?" Lydia prompted her. Felicia understood and giggled a little bit.
"Lydia, can I please have a lighter?" Felicia asked, wiggling on the couch with anticipation. Lydia was even more aroused now. She could have tweaked Felicia to be more subservient to her, but she didn't need to. Her roommate was apparently happy to play the game she'd set up, and she didn't even know the half of it.
"I wish for my lovely roommate Felicia to have a platinum zippo that never runs out of fuel, and that will light only when she strikes it." Once again a glow appeared in front of Felicia, and Lydia kept talking. "I wish for it to be monogrammed with her initials." Lydia simply held the notebook while the pen did the writing for her. In the meantime, Felicia's new gift took form as the glow subsided again.
She saw it hovering there in space, and she reached out to take a hold of it. It was heavy, solid. Gleaming. She flipped it open and ran the wheel, and it lit up on the first strike. Felicia watched the glow as if she was already high.
"I mean, I already knew you were a cool roommate — but this, this is just —"
"The beginning," Lydia said, "this is just the beginning." Felicia nodded, looking back up at her roommate as she held the lighter to the headpiece. As the magically-conjured plant material went ablaze, Felicia held her lips to the top of the bong and looked up at Lydia. Lydia could absolutely get used to that look; it was one that spoke of reverence. Exactly what Lydia intended, and without any **** at all. "Now my next question," Lydia said, narrowing her eyes at her roommate as Felicia took her hit. "Do you trust me?"
Felicia pulled the slide, clearing the chamber and blinking her eyes a couple of times – reacting to the potency of the plant before nodding vigorously at Lydia.
"A--a hundred percent!" Felicia said, smoke pouring from her lips.
"Good," Lydia said. "Because in order for us to really play with Kyle on the sly, I'm going to have to reconfigure how I make my wishes — and I want you to know that I'm changing it up, but I didn't want you to think I was hiding anything from you." Felicia waved off her concern as she blew smoke from her nostrils. "In fact, I think it would be kind of fun if they were a surprise to you as well as him...are you okay with that?"
Felicia thought back to when she first came in the room — levitating around their dorm suite while empty boot shafts played with her tits. Certainly one of the strangest things she'd ever experienced, but now that she knew what was she was getting into, and what else might be possible for Lydia…
"Oh my God, way more than okay," Felicia grinned. "God damn this is good weed, Lyd," she added, looking at the smoking headpiece as she passed it on. Lydia's drink tipped itself to her lips without any manual intervention on her part, and she took a gulp as the glass retreated again. The bong lifted itself out of Felicia's hands and tipped itself back to Lydia's lips, but when Felicia tried to pass the lighter on, Lydia wagged a finger at her.
"It won't light for me, remember?" Lydia said. Felicia's eyes lit up, and she giggled a little as she flipped open the lighter and lit the piece for Lydia.
"Oh my God, I already forgot," Felicia laughed. "Dude, this is so cool..." Lydia sucked down her own hit and waved off Felicia's lighter. The slide pulled itself, and Lydia breathed in deep. She wasn't really much of a stoner, but she'd partaken with Lydia now and again — and this was a special occasion, after all.
Still standing in front of the coffee table opposite Felicia, who was sitting on the couch, Lydia willed herself weightless and folded her legs under her, holding her hands out to either side as if she was meditating. Felicia giggled a little, watching her roommate hover across from her.
"I wish to be able to think my wishes, and still have them written down," Lydia said aloud, closing her eyes. She let go of the notebook, and Felicia watched as the wish was written down by the pen. "I wish for this notebook to physically hide itself from anyone but Felicia or myself, and to faithfully write down my mental wishes even if the notebook and I aren't physically near each other." The next wish was written down, and with a wave of Lydia's hand, the notebook drifted into the bedroom. Lydia opened her eyes again.
"So now you don't even have to say them aloud?" Felicia asked before hitting the bong again. Lydia simply shook her head.
"All I have to do is think about it," Lydia responded. "So what do you say," she raised an eyebrow, "are you ready to ply this boy with weed and liquor and take advantage of him like no girl has before?"
"Yes please," Felicia grinned.
"Then I believe we're done with our discussion," Lydia said.
The moment she said the words, there was a knock on the door.
Shit, I hope that's Kyle and not the RA. For the RA's sake.
