Simmering Heat

TsukiNo's eyes fluttered open, stretching out with a tiresome yawn. Her body had cooled down and relaxed after her fearful nightmare. It'll possibly be the one thing that'll always haunt her without escape. It's not like she could just talk about it, Kuro and his people wouldn't understand. So therapy was out of the question.

"Morning..."

She muttered out softly, pushing herself up off the wild grass. The fresh smell of something brewing up along with unpolluted air assaulting her nostrils. She took it all in for a solid minute. Gathering her surroundings in awe.

TsukiNo watch dragonflies buzzing over lillypads, mosquitoe larvae being eaten off by other insects. This place is no different than Earth, other than the general population. Consisting primarily of males with females having the shorter end of the stick. That only grants the female to have multiple mates in a tribe, protected by numerous males. She would know a few bitches back in her own world that would whore themselves up for that kind of living.

Her gaze met over at Kuro, was he really attempting to cook his first meal? It brought a faint smile on her face.

"I hope you're using seasonings in that pot."

Surely TsukiNo has a whole list of what she'll need to teach him and possibly his tribe. If he only just now learned about cooking, it's a safe bet salt isn't discovered yet. Let alone thyme and rosemary. This will be some bland food here, but nonetheless grateful that he picked up a thing or two after yesterday.

She sat herself down next to him, watching the food simmer inside the iron pot. The fire was out with charcoal still heated below. Offering the food a steady flow of heat to both cool down and keep warm. She used the pot spoon to stir it up, watching the meat break apart with ease.

"You've done good for your first time. Thanks Kuro, careful it's still hot."
