Silent treatment

"But I will abstain from such methods for now.." The So-taicho cocks his head slightly. "May I ask why?" Your fingers tap the silver sheen of Kagehime's gargoyle top. "Going all out at the moment would jepordise to much, and could irreparably damage relationships that I have come to cherish." You look up to your grandfather. "But let me ask you this, have any of you had ANY contact with anyone from the celestial relm?"

A slow murmer builds in the room. "Or for that matter, have any of you seen any members of squad 0?" Byakuya leers at you for the moment. "What are you insinuating Genrysai-taicho?" You give him a monotone look. "Simple, I believe that the spirit king, and most likely the entire celestial relm have abandoned us."

More loud murmering soon breaks out before the So-taicho slams his cane into the floor. "QUIET!! As harsh and unbelievable these acusations maybe, Genryusai-taicho may be right, but until more solid evidence is found this subject shall be shelved for the moment." After calm is restored the So-taicho addresses the crowd again. "Is their any other news?"

Mayrui's ever present grin seems to widen. "Yes, my squadrens energy scaners picked up an odd anomoly this morning. Normally it would be chalked up to Genryusai-taicho's 'nightly wanderings'," His sickly chuckleing gives you a sick feeling in your core. "But this energy signature was 100% non-human," He looks to you. "Care to explain?"

You sigh in exasperation before going into detail of your strange little journey. "You....have a nine-tailed fox?! So Kyone's insesant rambelings wherent just for show?!" You nod in agreement at Ukitake's bewildered statement. "Is this animal dangerous?" You turn to your grandfater's gause as he strokes his beard. "Not really, she might drive us crazy with the pranks she'll most likely pull, but she wont kill anyone."

Your grandfathers eyebrow twitched slightly at the word prank. "Any other suprises Genryusai-taicho?" You scratch your chin in contemplation. "Um...not at the moment, no." As the Taicho's started to return to their respective barracks, Ukitake runs up to you and Toshiro followed by two strange young boys dressed up as monks for some reason. "AH! Genryusai-taicho?! Could I have a word with you?"

"Um....sure I guess, what can I do for you Ukitake-san?" She chuckles slightly. "Ma ma, no need for that! Call me Ukitake-chan, I insist!" You start to feel abit wierded out by the strange beaming smile Ukitake seems to be directing towards you. "O...k, so Ukitake-chan, what can I-" You'r train of thought is broken by the strange pair of twins pokeing at Kagehime.

"Neh neh! Giant-san! Why is your Zanpakuto so silent?" You look down at the two twins with a grimce. "Why do the allways call me a gaint?" Ukitake grasps the twins while Toshiro pats your arm in a silent comforting motion. "S-Sorry about that Genryusai-kun, These two are quite the handfull.."

You wave it off. "S-ok, but to answer the gaki's question...." Ukitake and the twins look to you with baited breath. "I really dont know why Kagehime is so silent." And allmost predictably, the three of them facefault. "John-kun, your awfull." You sheepishly grin at Toshiro's playfull remark. "Heh...sorry but I-"

"WAAAAAAAGHH!!!! TAICHO! HELP ME!!!" A pitite young blond haired girl comes screaming around the corner followed by an impishly smileing Kyuubi in fox form.
