Chapter 6 by TheInfiniteDragon

What does she do with Blair?

Shove Blair Out

“Alright asshole, You’ve pushed your luck now,” Beth said with a growl. She grabbed Blair by the shoulders and **** him around, pushing him straight towards the door.

“I’ll take that as a no then?” He said with a sigh.

Blair opened the door on his own and left leaving Beth alone at last, but before she could even reflect on what had transpired, the second she closed the door she heard a yelp just outside. She could hear a struggle as multiple people shuffled about. In her state of shock she was completely paralysed and unable to move a single muscle in her body.

Eventually, all she heard were muffled calls and a load of people suddenly charging out of the front door. Silence followed. It took her several minutes, but Bethany was able to coax herself out of her daze and opened her bedroom door. She peeked outside and noticed that despite some furniture being flipped over, her apartment was intact. Everything was still present so nothing had been taken either, except one thing; her roommates. To check she called out for Gwen and Blair, but no one replied.

It only then occurred to her that she had been present at a ****, and was nearly taken herself. Before panic could set in, she felt a piece of card get stuck to the bottom of her naked foot. He looked to find a business card of all things; one that she definitely knew that she didn’t own before.

Balzz Incorporated
Leading the World to the Future

Balzz incorporated was the biggest industrial complex in San Francisco. It didn’t provide many jobs except for top-level scientists and heavily armed guard units. It was infamous in the area for always running non-stop and apparently killing off any business in the city that they didn’t approve of.

Bethany knew where this was; and she also knew exactly how to get there. Why would a bunch of kidnappers, who clearly had premeditated this, carry a random business card with them if this was not who they belong too? At the very least, there could be a clue there.

“Wait a bloody minute? Should I really do this?” She caught herself before her mind went any further. This place was heavily guarded, and even worked late into the night. The police wouldn’t take her seriously, hell everyone said Balzz owned the cops in this city. She had no idea why they had taken her roommates, or what they would do to them if they caught her?

Could she really put her neck on the line for strangers?

What should Beth do?
