Should I make this book a crossover book?

So yeah I just learned Starcraft was originally going to be a Warhammer game but became an original IP due to leagal problems. Well I was a Starcraft fan long before I became a Warhammer fan, so I'm tempted to add the Protos and the Zerg into the book. However Warhammer has really dense lore, so I'm wondering if adding more would be too much work. Also I'm worried you guys might not like the book if it became a crossover. Leave your suggestions on what I should do in the coments.
