Shots!

"Are they opened?" Erica asked.

Sarah checked. "Yeah, they're all opened."

"Wow," Rebecca said, "Your aunt has a lot of liquor. Does she drink a lot?"

"Doesn't look like it." Mackenzie said, "If they're all opened. They look pretty full, if she was an alcoholic, she'd probably have fewer open at a time, because she'd drink a lot from one first. She probably likes mixed drinks or something. Or they could be for guests." Sarah turned around and stared at Mackenzie, who just shrugged.

"What should we do with them?" Kaytlin asked.

They heard the clink of glass, and realized that Erica had left a moment before she came back in. "I found a box of shot glasses!" she said proudly, "So here's the game. We pour one shot from each bottle into a glass, and take turns drinking one."

"You're going to throw up." Mackenzie said, "You're all going to throw up and I'm not going to deal with it."

"Relax," Rebecca said, "Don't be such a baby about it." She reached past Sarah and grabbed a pair of bottles. Sarah grabbed one in each hand as well and put them on the table. Soon all twenty bottles were out, and Erica was pouring them into shot glasses. "Twenty bottles, twenty glasses." Rebecca said, "I wonder if your aunt plays this game?"

"Can I read the labels on those?" Mackenzie asked, but the other girls put all the bottles away before she could. She looked at the table, "Look, some of these are weird colors, I've never seen this many brightly colored liquors."

It was true. There was a brownish one, which looked more like what they had all expected, and then a milky white one, a red one, a green one, a dark blue one, a misty pink one, a lilac one, a magenta one, a light blue one, a deep forest green one, a soft tan colored one, one that had an oily rainbow, a clear one, a light green one, one the same blue-green of the ocean, an orange one, a completely black one, a shiny golden one, a thick dark brown one, and a deep pink one.

"Who goes first?" Sarah asked.

"Mackenzie." Rebecca said harshly.
