Most of the extra work you were doing was because he was managing the division so poorly. Additionally, for the work you’ve been doing and staying in the company, I’ve decided to give each of you a huge raise and a big bonus for all your troubles.”

Dave was a little stunned at the gift that they received as he turned to meet Bethany’s equally shocked eyes. He definitely wasn’t complaining though.

“I would like to have a one-on-one meeting with both of you to get to know each of you and plan for the future. If you don’t mind Dave, I would like to start with Bethany.”
