Chapter 109 by duskdawn duskdawn

What's next?

Shift in the Status Quo

That got boring WAY too quickly... It was fun to play with the massive melons in front of me at first, but Olivia is basically a vegetable right now, giving no more than a moan at each squeeze and tug of her udders.

After leaning my head back and closing my eyes out of boredom, I finally hear her speak again. "If I had known you liked big boobs, I would've tried to lead with that." Opening my eyes back up, I see a smug look on Olivia's face, but more importantly, her flower is now that familiar deep purple.

"You could say that. Nice of you to drop in, Rose."

"I thought you could use some company. Now that more of my flowers are in Riverbend, neither of us have to be quite so..." She uses Olivia's slender hands to once more take a hold of my erect member. "...alone."

My mind once more goes back to the quest to get Rose more thralls. "You seem to be quite eager to have me fuck all these women, Rose. What happens if I give in?"

She giggles. "Maybe I just want my flowers to have a good time." Slowly, her hands begin rubbing up and down my shaft. "Maybe I'm just trying to keep you happy enough to leave me to my own devices." She leans closer, smushing her borrowed breasts against me and bringing her face only an inch from my own. "Maybe it's just because I want to." Rose goes for a kiss, and I do my best to lean into it.

Reaching behind her, I grab her rear and begin massaging it, causing Rose to moan in my mouth before we break off. "But what really happens when one of them has sex?"

The redhead hums. "If one of my flowers gets pregnant, if the child is a girl, they're already one of my flowers. If the child is a boy...they're not a flower to start, and I can't flower them normally, but they tend not to stay male for long. Only one of the children in my goblin tribe was male by the time I was captured." She smiles. "But if you're wondering whether or not Olivia would be alright with having your child, just know that Roger was an exception. All of my other flowers have...a high interest in being mothers. Olivia and her wife have already talked...extensively on the subject."

"...and what did they decide?"

Her smile widens. "Do you want to know the answer?" I can feel her direct my member, and within a few moments, a wet, constricting feeling surrounds my knob. "I'm assuming I can continue?"

"If we're going that far..." I quickly pull her closer to me, causing a moan of surprise as my dick pushes into her. "You'd better be prepared to back up your smug attitude." I give another tug, shoving myself another few inches inside her.

"Fuck!" A grin forms on her face. "About time, Dusk." She pushes herself further, before starting to gyrate.

I take her tits in my hands and squeeze, releasing another moan from my partner. "You like it rough too, or is that Olivia?"

She laughs. "Why don't you keep going and find out?"

. . .

After a long, pleasurable session, 'Olivia' relaxes against me, a fresh load of cum inside her, and still plugged by my softening dick. She sighs contently. "...I didn't expect this to feel so...warm."

Rubbing her back, I can't help but cock my head. "You haven't had sex before?"

"Not like this, no..." She snuggles up a bit more. "Olivia is planning on leaving with Freya to sell wood and monster parts in Recuan. Once she comes to, I'll let her talk to you about the details."

"Already?" They just got here...

"We don't have a lot of time, Dusk. She's trying to make the most of it."

I pause. She's not wrong...

"Don't worry, though. Even without me encouraging her, this will definitely not be a one-time thing."

I cock an eyebrow. "You sound so sure."

"Because I know my garden. Once they get a taste of good dick..." She giggles. "She'll be back."

I suppose that's one way to look at it...

We sit in silence for a bit, and eventually, I notice Olivia's flower return to a...red color? That's interesting...

The redhead clears her throat. "W-would you mind if we...stay like this for now? I-I don't think I can look you in the eye, right now..."

I reach up and rub the back of her head. "Whatever you need, Olivia. Rose said you wanted to talk?"

Her arms wrap around me, pulling us closer together, and letting me feel the heat from her blushing cheeks. "Th-thank you. I spoke briefly to the lumberjack, and the minotaur and dragon are loading two of the carts with logs, while I plan to load the other two with parts from what's left of the hornet carcasses. The chitin and stingers are common enough that they won't sell for much individually, but a bulk purchase is popular with smiths and alchemists, since it gives them more consistency in their own merchandise."

"Huh... Is there anything I can do to help?"

"A few more guards would be helpful. Freya will accompany me as my sworn shield, but two more guards would be needed to help guide the horses."

"Consider it done. Do you prefer more...flowers, or-"

"No, actually. It's bad enough Freya and I will have to leave, I'd hate for the others to have to suffer away from the Empress again." She squeezes. "Having some guards that aren't like us would be better."

I nod. "I'll get Camilla on it. Anything else?"

"No, thank you, sweetie." She freezes -and I do too- and I feel her cheek warm up again. "I-I should go." All while averting her gaze, she gets up and begins fixing her clothes.

Sweetie? "Alright, Olivia. Take-" The door's already shut. "...care."

Anord [Devilish]

Well, that's the Empresses down, now I've got the mask, and- I pause, suddenly feeling like I'm being watched. Taking a glance around, I don't notice anything at first, before my ever-helpful HUD points out an 'enemy', giving a small health bar, and even what it is. Angelic Hornet? Doesn't even have any levels. I curiously step closer, only to have the indicator disappear. "Huh..."

The leaves above me rustle, and I look up just in time to see the one in question dropping down. My vision suddenly turns to slow-motion, but despite that, I take a non-slowed step back, before everything returns to regular speed. The young girl ends up stabbing the ground, but doesn't waste any time trying to stab me again.

Time once again returns to slow-mo, letting me easily side-step and grab her arm. As time returns to normal, her insectoid wings flare out and she begins trying to pull away, grunting and whining.

I cock my head, my HUD catching up with me, and reminding me of the child's name - which Hali luckily told me. "Daisy, right? You're Dusk's kid."

She freezes, before more frantically trying to pull away. If bug eyes could widen, I'm sure they would've.

"Look, I'm not gonna hurt, you, okay? Just here to have a little fun." I pause. Actually...that could be quite interesting... Suppressing a grin, I turn my attention to the tiny 'dagger' she's holding: it looks like a short, tiny lance, with an odd gold spiral stretching from the hilt to the point. "Is this what a queen's stinger looks like at your age?"

She pouts, staring at me, and I can almost see the steam rising from her ears.

"Look, my arm's getting tired. Why don't we sit down and talk, instead of you trying to kill me?"

The blonde thinks for a moment, before nodding.

. . .

The moody child and I have been sitting around for 30 minutes, according to my HUD. She's listened to me describe a couple things about the demon kingdom, my journey here, and my thoughts on what I've seen so far of Riverbend. However, I notice a couple times that when I mention Dusk, or the empresses, she gets a bit...fidgety.

"Is there...something you'd like to talk about? ...maybe about your family? Talking about it helps, more often than not."

She looks away, before setting her head on her crossed arms. "...can you heal my dad?"

Heal? So he's injured? If it's bad enough where he can't heal it himself, I doubt I could. I shake my head. "No, I'm not that good a cleric. I know someone who could, though. She should be coming back to town in the next couple days. Red skin, horns; around here, you can't miss her."

Daisy hums sadly. There's a bit of a pause before she says something again. "...do you have a sis?"

I sigh, reminiscing a bit. "Yeah, I did. Still do, I guess, but she's...far away. Why do you ask?"

"Were you...close?"

"When we were younger. Inseparable; she'd always follow me around, wanting to be part of whatever I was doing..." Another sigh. "We grew apart as we got older, before... Well, let's just say we got interested in different things." I pause. "Is something wrong between you and your sister?"

She thinks for a moment, and shrugs. "I dunno. We think diff, differ-"

"Differently?"

She nods. "Her, Mom, Dad...it's confuzzling..."

I chuckle. "Confusing."

"Who do I listen to?"

Nodding my head to the side, I slowly stand up. "Only you can decide who to listen to, if you listen to anyone at all. If you want to follow your instincts, listen to your mom. If you want to follow 'the order', your dad's the one in charge. Family, no one's closer than your sister. But your life is your own, Daisy. You get to decide what you want to do. And right now, I want to do a couple more things before I leave town for a while." I reach into my pocket, thumbing a 'speaking stone' that Hali gave me for an emergency. Eh, I'll pay her back. I toss the stone down in front of the young hornet. "If you ever want to talk, go ahead give me a call."

I take a few steps away before I hear her: "How do you know my name?"

I don't stop walking as I do a little spin to face her. "Who knows?"

Dusk Blackwing

My boredom is once again interrupted by a knock on the door. "It's open."

Eve peeks her head in, seeming...conflicted. "Dusk, can we talk?"

Confused, I try to sit up more. "Yeah, come on in. What's wrong?"

She walks in, nervously fidgeting, staying silent until a few seconds after climbing on the bed. "Dusk...is there something you want to ask me?"

Now I'm even more confused... My brow furrows. "What do you mean by that?" There's a bit of an awkward silence. Her hand drifts toward my own, and we both squeeze, her thumb tracing circles on my hand.

"...I felt it...since this morning... You...you want me to..." She pauses again, seemingly unable to finish the thought.

"Eve...I can't help if I don't know what's wrong." I bring my other hand over to cover hers.

"...I can't do it, Dusk. I promised Kristhyra..." The goblin looks on the verge of tears.

Kris? "What did you promise her, Eve?"

"...why...why do you want more kids, Dusk?"

I blink, taken aback. She knows about the quest? My mouth opens and closes a few times. "Eve..."

"Please, Dusk." She looks to me, giving me a stare that just...ugh. It makes me feel guilty even though I haven't even done anything wrong!

I purse my lips. "...I got a quest from the gods. They want me to build an army, which includes hornets, Rose's thralls, and...goblins. To get the best reward, I need to have over a hundred in the next month, but...when I did the math, I can't see a great way to do it without you."

There's a pause, her eyes darting around a bit. "...is it...does it have to be me?"

I think back, trying to remember the exact details. "Probably not, but...it'd take a lot of effort. I can't exactly go out to the tribes and fuck all the women there, but with your core-"

"What if I bring them here?" She gulps.

"...that could work...I think, anyway." I never counted how many women were in the tribes, but it could work.

Another pause, as if she's waiting for me. "...please?"

I pull her close, giving her a hug. "Eve, I'm not going to **** you to do anything you don't want to, but any way you can help me, I'd be thankful for."

She shudders in my arms, audibly sighing with relief. "...I guess I need to get going, then." As the goblin begins pushing me away, I instead pull her closer.

"Eve...I'm sor-"

"No. I'm sorry." Eve squeezes, before slipping between my arms. She's out the door before I can say another word.

. . .

The rest of the day passes uneventfully, and eventually, Camilla and Kara come back, with the latter quick to begin preparing dinner.

Camilla sits down on the side of the bed, seemingly a bit nervous, but unable to look me in the eye. "I, um...I talked it over with Kara..." She pauses, unsure what to say.

"It's okay, Camilla. I know this is a lot."

She gives a single chuckle, shaking her head. "No kidding."

There's a pause.

Reaching forward, I set my hand on her arm. "Look, I-"

"Dusk...I think I still need some time." Her hand latches onto my own.

I...was hoping for a more concrete answer... Forcing a smile, I give her a little shake. "Take all the time you need."

Dinner turns out to be quiet, with Camilla contemplative and Eve on her way to the tribes. Violet is the loudest one among us, as per usual, but Diana keeps stealing glances at me, like she wants to say something... All the women in my life are acting different...but I guess I shouldn't be surprised...
