When Scarlet awoke in her cave, it immediately came to her attention that she could feel a presence outside of the shelter. Stirring and checking for her daggers subtly she hears footsteps approach before the sound of a slight gasp. "Oh I'm sorry, I didnt know this was taken," said a distinctly feminine voice.

"Oh, darling, it's fine, come on in!" Scarlet quipped back.

Entering the cave is a woman with thin gossamer clothing that is only thick enough to cover her breasts and waist. It gave her a wispy-like appearance. Her body and face appeared to be elf like and beautiful in every sense - her curves located in all the right places to accentuate her beauty. The woman walks in and sits on the other side of the fire to Scarlet. “Thank you. I have been on a long walk since yesterday. I forgot how tiring it can be,” She says with a smile at Scarlet.

"Truth be told, madam, I wouldn't know how far anybody has been walking as I don't know where anything is or where I am. Could you be so kind as to inform a lady?" Scarlet asks, not even covering her modesty at all. The woman looks at her and sees Scarlet's relaxed nature. “Ah you must be a newcomer. I hope you haven’t had to hard of a time yet. These woods can be very disturbing," she says.

"I am indeed a newcomer, some bastard of a man kidnapped my lover, and he managed to banish me to this place with absolutely no clothing or anything whatsoever, moments before I was going to run him through with my blade," Scarlet replies. The woman’s face shows concern and sorrow. “I’m so sorry that you could not get your ****. But I’m afraid that if you are here then you may not get it at all," she begins explaining, as she touches the ground and from where she touched a small plant grows and berries form on the vine. She plucks a couple and offers them. ""Thank you kindly, I feel so damn hungry, I haven't eaten in a few days now!" Scarlet remarks, and eagerly takes them and begins eating them.

“Your welcome dear. Now to answer your question about where you are. You are in a forest that has many names from those that find themselves here. Forest of the lost, damned, and so on. I have been here for a while. Have met a few beings some friendly others in need of a slap. You fall in the friendly category,” she declares, staring at Scarlet, the smile still on her face as she looks at her. “I should warn you that this forest brings out the beast in those that dwell here. And it has it’s own rules that defies normal nature. So be careful,” she warns, taking a berry and placing it in her mouth almost sensually.

"And what sort of friendly beings have you met? What were their names? I'd be curious to meet them," Scarlet questions, listening intently.

The woman waved her hand dismissively as she began to answer, “The meetings were few and far between and brief in their words. Most of them were peaceful animals of the woods, deer and such. No intelligent being is completely friendly.”

"The only individuals I've met in the forest so far have been absolute bustards. Some corpselike man tried to bite me, and I caught a creepy elven pervert in the act of creeping on me and made them pay dearly for their transgressions against me," Scarlet recalls. The woman's face looked quite stunned at this statement. “When you say corpse like are you talking about a zombie?” she asks, as worry crept into her voice.

"Yeah, I think that's what it's called. Didn't manage to land a bite though, and I smashed its head in with a rock," Scarlet replies, smiling back at the woman. The woman began to still move closer to Scarlet and began to look her over. "You can’t be too sure. Its teeth may have scratched you and you would think nothing of it,” she warns, conveying her worry. She starts her investigation with Scarlet's arms.

Scarlet turns her back around, looking still at this woman over her shoulder, letting her inspect her body as she says, "so that outfit is gorgeous, where did you find it?"

Her hands traced Scarlet's back lightly as she examined it saying, “I didn’t find it silly, I made it using magic. My people can do all kinds of things with it.”

"Oh? What kind of magic are we talking?" Scarlet asks, quietly enjoying the pleasant sensation against her skin of the woman's touch. The woman leans in to whisper in Scarlet's ear, her chest pressing softly against her back. “Faye magic,” she quietly whispers. “We tend not to advertise our abilities due to some unfortunates wanting to covet it. So this forest is a welcome seclusion as we are the few who can live in relative peace,” she explains, before motioning with her hand to let her examine Scarlet's front. Scarlet faintly and pleasantly sighs at the sensation but tries to keep her head focused, as she knows she should be loyal to her maiden. She turns around and faces this woman. "What does that magic let you do?" she asks, curious.

The woman continued her examinations, as she answered, “I can do what many other wizards can do. Outside of that most forests would bend to our will, I can weave mist and change my body at will. That is to name a few. Done!” She leans back after looking at Scarlet's neck. Scarlet could smell the light scent of a flower field. “You will be happy to know that you will not turn into an undead," the woman announces, with the sound of relief in her voice. Scarlet breathes a sigh of relief, as well as enjoying the pleasant scent subconsciously. "That's always a relief to know at least," she remarks. "So if you can bend the forest to your will, are you able to help me get out of here back to my lover?" she requests. The woman simply frowned in response. The woman frowns. “I’m sorry but that is beyond my power. This forest is a primal power beyond even the gods. I may be able to leave at some point but even I don’t know when and I will not be able to take another. Like I said before, with how the creatures and people of this forest are……. You will most likely never see your lover again. Again I’m sorry," she says, breaking the bad news. Hearing this, Scarlet looks down very disappointingly and conflicted, somewhat heartbroken. She says very little.

"I’ll stay with you for now if that is what you wish," the woman mentions after a pause.

"It doesn't matter though, does it? If we can't leave?" Scarlet responds.

“Sometimes companionship however short is what someone needs,” she soothes, as she lightly grabbed Scarlet's shoulder and giving it a tender pull so Scarlet was laying in her lap.

Scarlet lays back, and looks up at her as she says, "I certainly could do with guidance and friendship after all this, that's a definite." The woman simply began stroking her head like a mother to her child. Scarlet lays there looking up at her smiling staring directly up into her eyes, before saying, "you know, yesterday I was enveloped in a strange white light and then had a belt and two daggers, which also blinded a pervert looking at my naked body stalking me. Do you know what that would have been?"

The woman looked at Scarlet with a puzzled look on her face as she answered, "That is a new one for me. At least I have never met anyone with a similar experience."

"That's understandable at least, it was very surreal. Shame the light didn't at least give me clothes!" Scarlet remarks, chuckling a little. The woman laughed with her, seemingly content with the situation right now. "You know I don't think I ever got your name," Scarlet remarks, staring up at this woman from her lap.

"You're right," the woman remarks, "How rude of me. My name is Laydra. What is your name?”

"My name is Scarlet Mitford, at your service, Madam," Scarlet replies smiling, as she reaches up to offer an awkward handshake from her position in Laydra's lap, before giggling a bit. The woman took Scarlet's hand in her own, her skin soft and silky. "A pleasure to meet you, Scarlet," she responds, smiling.

Scarlet gently plays with her hair a little and compliments, "wow your hands are so soft and delicate!"

"Benefits of my people," she says, looking down at Scarlet with a look of slight sadness. “I know that we are enjoying this time but I feel that we must leave each other soon as we have our own paths,” she announces, looking at the fire pit. “The forest will **** many beings sanity and body over time. Even I am not immune,” she says, as Scarlet could faintly smell her arousal. “I will not betray this trust so rest easy. You have my word," she says.

"Thank you kindly for your company, Laydra, I really needed this," Scarlet says, slowly rising to her feet, giving her a hug. Laydra shivered as Scarlet hugged her, as she placed her arms around Scarlet tightly. "You're welcome," she simply says, holding Scarlet for a moment before letting go. Scarlet saunters over to her belongings, slinging over her shoulders her satchel, bow and quiver, and fixing on her belt with daggers. "Farewell, Laydra," she says, with a bitter-sweet tone. Laydra stood and moved over to Scarlet before she goes, and planted a kiss on her cheek. "“A gift to help your journey. Now other non corrupted Faye will know you are friends with one of high rank. It’s all I can do," she says with a bittersweet tone.

Scarlet gains the Mark of The Archfey boon. All Fey creatures will now know who Scarlet's new friend is. Non corrupted Fey will either ignore her or be friendly towards her. Fey already corrupted by the forest will remain hostile to her.
Scarlet gains 25xp!

"Thank you, sincerely," Scarlet says, feeling the warmth of the kiss and the faint lipstick marks on her cheek, before turning to leave the cave to continue exploring the surroundings. She notes mentally of where she goes because the cave is a good shelter and suitable camp-fire location.

As Scarlet was travelling, she could hear splashing. Getting closer she could hear the sounds of splashing, followed by the sounds of voices. She begins to sneak closer.

Roll Caution for Stealth: 1d20+1 = 2+1 = 3

Scarlet bumbles through the brush trying to see what is making the sounds. Luckily for her, whatever was making those sounds didn't hear her as they were too busy with their current activities. Scarlet moves closer to gain direct line of sight on the commotion. She sees a river past the trees and in it are two people playing in the water, one male and one female. Their skin is a shade of blue and she sees that they have pointed ears. She can see that they have nothing on them, though there is a pile of belongings by the shore about ten feet away from Scarlet. The shore is mostly loose gravel and it's just a pile of clothing with nothing notable in it. The two individuals are both knee deep in water and about a similar distance away from their belongings. Scarlet keeps her bow out by her side as she quietly watches from the safety of the trees. She sees the two playing as if they were children, and Scarlet realises she caught the eloping couple just as they finished bathing together. Blushing slightly at the awkward realisation, she decides to mind her own business and go upstream to bathe herself, as well as to get some much needed water, not wanting to intrude any further on their privacy.

Scarlet gains 12xp.

As Scarlet is moving through the forest following the river, she fails to notice a shallow pitfall meant to make her fall.

At this moment as she shoots to her feet with lightning reflexes, she watches as three angry kobolds come out from the under brush, one holding a makeshift spear, another a club and the last one a rope net.

The Kobolds roll 1d20 = 7
Scarlet rolls 1d20+4 = 11+4 = 15
Scarlet is first to act!

Scarlet draws out her daggers and lunges for the Kobold holding the rope net, knowing that they provide a threat to her ability to outrun these Kobolds.

Scarlet rolls to attack with her on hand dagger! 1d20+4 = 15+4 = 19 vs 1d20 = 19
Scarlet hits!
Scarlet deals 1d4+4+1 = 1+4+1 = 6 piercing damage!
The kobold is slain!

Scarlet's blade slams home in the kobold's neck. Her blade severs the arteries in his neck before slipping into his spline. He falls off of her dagger as his body goes limp. The other two see their comrade fall to Scarlet in a single strike. They had no time to react but now decide that they will avenge him. The one with the club rushes first at Scarlet!

Kobold rolls to attack with their club! 1d20 = 20
The kobold lands a CRITICAL HIT!
The kobold deals 2d4 = 2+1 = 3 bludgeoning damage!

The Kobold lands a solid blow, but it doesn't effect Scarlet too much as she's fuelled by her adrenaline. The other Kobold lunges out at her with its spear.

Kobold rolls to attack with their spear! 1d20 = 10 vs 1d20+4 = 16+4 = 20
The kobold misses!

Despite the pain that she feels, she ducks and weaves out of the way of the spear, before turning her attention directly to the spearman with her daggers.

Scarlet rolls to attack with both of her daggers! 1d20+4 = 4+4 = 8 vs 1d20 = 18 and 1d20+4 = 13+4 = 17 vs 1d20 = 12.
The Scarlet misses with her on-hand dagger but lands a hit with her off-hand dagger instead!
Scarlet deals 1d4+1+4 = 3+4+1 = 8 piercing damage!
The kobold is slain!
Scarlet uses her Cunningly Agile ability to attempt to flee!

Scarlet's dagger is thrust straight through the kobold's heart, leaving him dead before he hits the floor, before turning to dart away and put some distance between herself and the remaining kobold, armed with the club.

Scarlet rolls Quickness as she attempts to flee: 1d20+4 = 2+4 = 6 vs 1d20 = 12.
Scarlet fails to flee!

The kobold reaches back up to her as Scarlet suddenly stumbles over the roots of trees nearby.

Scarlet goes first!

"Alright, if you really insist on dying too!" Scarlet quips as she swings back around drawing her daggers and lunging at the pursuing kobold.

Scarlet rolls to attack the kobold with her daggers! 1d20+4 = 12+4 = 16 vs 1d20 = 7 and 1d20+4 = 14+4 = 18 vs 1d20 = 3.
Scarlet hits with both dagger attacks!
Scarlet deals 2+2d4+8 = 14 piercing damage!
The kobold is slain!

All kobolds are defeated and Scarlet gains 75xp!

Scarlet rolls over, having tripped, and kicks back as the Kobold is on top of her. As the Kobold stumbles, she leaps to her feet and changes down with the daggers. Knocking them to the ground, she swiftly plunges the blades into the Kobolds chest, swiftly incapacitating them as they expire a few seconds later. "Can a lady bathe and drink in peace without insignificant brutes trying to manhandle her?" Scarlet says, dusting the dirt off of herself, now seeing she's covered in blood from the victims of her stabbings. She takes to sifting through the belongings of the kobolds, clutching in pain at her side where she was struck by the club earlier. Scarlet collects the Spear and Net, hoping to use them to set up a hunting trap possibly later, before drinking and bathing herself off in the river. Satisfied, she sets back off in the direction of the cave she was in earlier in the morning, foraging on the way back.

Roll a luck check to see if Scarlet finds any berries = 1d20 = 20!

Scarlet on her walk back to the cave finds various berries and mushrooms and even some root vegetables. Some of the mushrooms appeared oddly coloured but not poisonous, stuffing the food in the satchel whilst eating the vegetables.
