Chapter 92

What does she want to talk about?
She wants to properly apologize.
“Very well. Let’s talk then.” You sit at arm’s length of her.
“I just… I know you said you didn’t want our apologies, but I still wanted to do it properly.” She says, trying to meet your eyes yet struggling to look at you directly for too long. “I did some horrible things to you. I know I can’t make it up, but… I want you to know that I regret it and… that I’m forever grateful that you saved Olivia.”
You take a deep breath and give her your best reassuring smile. “Okay then. Apology accepted. I just hope we can get along now.”
Jessica seems honestly taken aback. “That easily?”
“That easily.” You echo. “If you’re being honest, I have no reason not to forgive you. I just hope this isn’t another act.”
Jessica winces and bites her lip. “It’s not. I promise. Look, I used to not care about what happened or what we did to you. Just like everyone else. To me… my world were just Olivia and Lilian.” She tells you, staring at the coffee table. “My family and I got here when I was in middle school. Maybe it was because I was new or because I was foreign, I don’t know… but no one wanted to talk to me. Then, after months, someone finally did. It was a boy asking me out. Of course, I accepted. After a week he got bored of me and tossed me aside. Same for the next guy… and the next. Rumors started spreading about me, saying I was a slut who’d go out with anyone. I stopped caring about anyone since then. But in high school, I met Olivia and Lilian. They told me their plan. To be at the top so no one would screw with them. I… I just wanted friends, so I joined them and did as they asked. I never cared what we did, and even if they were cruel to others, they were always amazing to me and to each other. After two long years, they were the first people to really care about me.” She clasps her hands tightly.
“I didn’t care what they did to you. But when I saw you trying to revive Olivia… I broke down. I didn’t understand what and why we had done those things. Olivia kicked you, Lilian insulted you, I framed you… and you saved Olivia’s life.” Tears start rolling down her face, falling on her legs. “It’s been eating me up ever since. I wanted to talk to you, I wanted to explain things to you, but I… I believed you hated us, and I couldn’t blame you.”
…
You put your hand over her clasped hands and squeeze softly. She turns to look at you, her long hair getting in the way. You chuckle and move it out of the way for her, fixing it behind her ear. It’s her surprise and her reddened cheeks that make you realize what you just did, but you play it cool, like it didn’t happen.
“I think… that if certain things hadn’t happened in my life recently, I really would hate you. But I’ve been lucky to have the support of people I never thought I’d care so much about. I told you before, right? I’d rather be making friends than enemies, and that’s what I’ve been doing. I’m making friends. I’d be happy if I could count you among them.”
…
In the silence, Jessica stares at you as a smile creeps into her face. The tears slowly stop. She gets a tissue from her pocket and wipes away the tears from her cheeks. She looks at you with a cheerful smile, before it turns wry.
“David, I swear this is the last mean thing I’ll ever do to you.”
Wait, what?
She puts her hands on your cheeks, leans in and presses her full lips against yours. It’s a firm, yet not overly long kiss. No tongue, no encore.
And it still leaves you blinking like an idiot and makes your dick harden.
“W-What was that?” You ask stupidly.
“A selfish declaration that I’m in love with you.” Jessica’s lips curl into a sad smile.
…
I’m sorry?
“I knew it was happening, but I don’t want to lie to myself anymore. I want to be with you, David. But I don’t feel I have the right to. If you don’t see me that way, I’ll understand, I promise. I just… needed to get that off my chest. Don’t worry, I don’t need an answer now.”
Her resigned smile, her subtle head tilt, her teary eyes… you could say yes immediately, but don’t. You have to talk to the others first… and thoroughly consider it for yourself, too, of course. Don’t think with your dick, David.
It’s so difficult thought! She’s so hot!
“Okay. I’ll… get back to you then.” You swallow.
Yesterday, you spent almost two hours making out with Mia. And now, what was basically just a strong peck on the lips has such a strong effect on you. You’re truly weak to women’s lips. Well, women in general, but specially the lips.
…
And the tits.
OKAY! You should leave!
“I’ll see you at school tomorrow, then.” You tell her. She nods her head and waves goodbye as you leave the shop.
You go down to the first floor and sit down on a bench in front of a lingerie store to process what just happened, but your mind is still drawing a blank. We’re talking about the same girl who was ready to frame you as a sexual offender because her friends didn’t like you.
Is an apology and a hot body all you need? Well, no. There’re also her affection scores. You look at the AMA.
-Ramirez, Jessica-
Affection Score: 80. (+11)
Love score: 40 (+25)
Lust score: 2 (+2)
Okay, if there is one interesting thing here other than the big jump in love score, is that the lust score is quite low. You unilaterally decide that it is because her feelings of love are pure, not because she doesn’t find you sexually attractive. You nod to yourself as you think this.
It is in the middle of that nodding that you see something even more interesting. From the lingerie store in front of you, comes your favorite English teacher, Mia. She has not one, but TWO bags on her and she’s quick to leave the store and go to elevator leading to the underground parking lot. It seems she didn’t see you.
You try your best to convince yourself that those bags only have old, ugly, granny panties and bras. No, she definitely did not come to buy new sexy underwear to show off to you on your next date. She didn’t. Don’t get your hopes up David. They’re just granny panties.
…
…
God you wish they’re see-through panties.
Author's Notes: I'm so sorry. I couldn't resist. I'm just too curious. Here's a poll where you can vote for your favorite girls. Of course, due to the nature of this story, you can vote for more than one girl. Like I said, I'm just curious about the general opinion.
Is there something else to do this Sunday?
