Chapter 9 by EthanRave EthanRave

How is Elenor when they return?

She upset

Elenor stared at the former knight turned assassin as they returned. She had been furious. Not only had she been outsmarted by Ethan, but now she was trapped in his body, with all the discomfort that came with being imprisoned. Not only that but she had also lost her book and now that whore had returned.

She watched as Azar entered the room. The assassin never once showing her anything besides a murderous glare that was barely contained under her stoic face. Elenor heard Azar's heels click against the floor as she walked towards her, the assassin stopping right before her.

"Look at me." Azar growled, but Elenor didn't give her any attention. Elenor soon learnt why that was a mistake as Azar kicked her in the privates. The jealous ex wasn't prepared for the immense pain that would shoot through her body as she collapsed onto the ground in agony. As if that wasn't bad enough, while she was collapsed on the ground, a heel dug into her back as she **** face first into the ground. "I said look at me Elenor." Azar hissed. The assassin soon moved her foot off Elenor's back before kicking her in the side and rolling her over.

"Either you tell me where you got that book the easy way, or we do it the hard way, or in this case I can do it the fun way." Azar sneered as she flexed her fingers.

"Do your worst, you and I both know you wouldn't do anything to seriously hurt and cripple me, not unless you want to ruin Ethan forever." Elenor spat in Azar's face. However before it even touched Azar's cheek, the assassin's hand moved to block it. This seemed to momentarily surprise them both, Elenor at the speed Azar moved, and Azar at the fact her hand moved at all. "It doesn't matter how fast or how strong you are, I know what really makes you tick." Elenor mocked. "I know what scares you."

"Oh really, and what's that?" Azar questioned curiously. What did that witch possibly gleamed for her minds as the thing that scares her?

"You're afraid that no one cares for you. That everyone is secretly afraid and terrified of you for being a monster in human form." Elenor mocked. "You were always so depressed about being the odd girl out and when you befriended Ethan, had thought for sure, he was only your friend out of loyalty for you saving him. Face it, you know no one will ever love you or accept you."

Azar didn't respond. Much to her surprise, Elenor's words had cut deep into her. However as quickly as the pain came, another feeling washed over her in a similar way. Azar could feel rage building inside of her. Not her own anger mind you, though that still existed inside her being.

Instead Azar felt Ethan's anger wrapping around her. It wasn't like she expected it to feel either. The emotions and sensations that wrapped around her were like a fire. It was destructive and quite terrifying one minute but for the bulk of it, Azar felt safe. It was like being around a fireplace when it was cold. The warmth of his rage was also comforting and blanketing her in a sense.

For the most part Azar had momentarily gotten lost in the feeling of Ethan's rage that she hadn't even noticed her body start to act on its own, or rather on Ethan's aggression. Azar could feel her arm shoot out once more before latching on to Elenor's borrowed throat. Azar watched as her body lifted up Elenor before quickly shoving them into the wall. She felt her fingers tightened as she began to squeeze Elenor...no Ethan's throat.

"Who are you to decide that?" Azar heard her voice growled. "You talk about acceptance but look at how you handled rejection. You can't decide who I loved or will be loved, when you yourself barely even understand the idea of love." Azar's mouth spoke. "So I'll ask you again, where did you get the book?" Azar's voice spoke.

"I didn't get it from anywhere." Elenor answered. "I was just praying one night for you to get your just deserts and it fell right in front of me." She explained. "When I saw the contents, I realized it must be a sign for what I need to do." She explained.

"That's the stupidest excuse I've ever heard."

Is it true though?
