She turned away and receded from the light.

It was too much! She felt blistered and raw from the sudden and hot light. She wanted nothing more than to hide back into the dark of her dreams. Why must she be so cruelly torn away from the world she knew, regardless whether it was fake or not. This was her entire world and it burned around her. She tried to flee, but it was too late. Consciousness rushed through her and she was awake and utterly alone.
